If you just started working out, dont even worry about it. It'll be gone in no time.

Omg son don't put that **** in his head.
You won't see your stomache decrease until you actually cut down bf% or have the rest of your body big enough to where your stomache seems small.
My gut sticks out when I'm relaxed because of the amount of food i eat=always bloated. But I don't look fat because everything else is bigger.
Endless crunches will not make your stomache "go down" or become "ripped"You can be as cold as the winter weather but I don't care as long as were together <3

Just ask.

dude stop throwing these terms around without really knowing what they mean. Have you seen pictures of some of the top bodybuilders before they started lifting weights? No doubt if you look at them now that you will say they are mesomorphs but if you look at some of their pics you will have thought they were ectomorphs. All this meso-ect-endomorph thing is bull**** man

I totally agree with this claim. Everyone has an obsession with these ****ing terms because then they can make excuses not to gain weight or whatever. They were invented so incredibly many years ago when noone had a clue about bodybuilding.
Plus they are extremely inaccurate. Repped btw Elmagodeslossemahttps://soundcloud.com/twolivesofficial

16% BF at 126lbs is fairly high but the reason your stomach sticks out is probally because you have a weak Transversus Abdominis muscle.
The TA muscle is a deep core muscle which is underneath the obliques and is only visable around your groin if you have achived enough muscle hypertrophy, the TA muscle is what creates the "adonis belt" or "sex lines" whatever people call them, they are the two lines that go from your obliques down to your groin.
The TA muscle apart from being the muscle which creates the adonis belt is responsible for pulling the abdominal wall back preventing the abs from protruding, when one has strong abs and a weak TA muscle you will find that there abs protrude like alot of bodybuilders these days (obvesiouly there are other reasons why they have protruding guts, but this is one of them) with a tight TA muscle your abdominal wall will be kept pulled back it also acts as an inside corset it will keep your waist small/tight.
Exercises which involve the TA muscle:
- Stomach vacuums
- Planks
Stomach vacuums are a oldschool exercises often used by guys like Frank, Arnold and Serge, just take a look how small all of these guys waists are.
So the conclusion is: Do stomach vacuums strengthen your transversus abdominis that will stop your stomach from sticking out.

When I had less bf (8-10%) I didn't have this problem. But after a couple years of eating junk food and increasing to ~13% bf I have this problem now. I really hope it's just a matter of lowering bf%...but I have a feeling there's more to it, because my stomach noticeably sticks out now...in a way that makes it seem like even if I lost some bf it would still stick out.
