Hey y'all, decided to start a workout journal for the sake of accountability and having something to look back on eventually. Not going to bore anyone with nutrition here, just lifts. Started yesterday on the BBB 3 Month Challenge, coming off of illness where I lost about 10 lbs. and an undetermined amount of strength. First entries will be in shortly...

Started back light for the sake of not dying after the layoff. Will adjust accordingly after the first month. Really struggled through the main lifts but had a bit left in the tank for accessory work.

Preworkout was a scoop of ErgoBlast, 2 MT Platinum Betaine and an Astravar 2.0. Had a scoop of MAN Iso Amino Sour Batch intra.

Thanks! Hope it comes back quick. I hate that I can miss a week of eating stupid amounts of food and all of a sudden 10 lbs disappear but whatever. Just gotta get back at it.

Probably could have kept pounding out deads for days on the 5+ set, but decided to stop at ten. Glad I did because they take a lot out of me and I already struggled through the squats which are a weak point for me.

Was pretty well shot after fifty squats, skipped the ab work. Can't even blame this one on coming off of sick; just suck at squats.

Hey bby. Nice to see you here. And yeah my first round of BBB got cut short, but I made the terrible mistake of starting too heavy on everything when I rarely lift anything for ten reps. I was also dumb and used my actual 1rm instead of my training max to calculate weights. This is still trashing me out.

Yeah, starting off too heavy can really hurt for about a week after the workout. Also, it can discourage you since you get so sore. Good to see you learned from mistakes

Yup, the other option splits them up but I like it this way. Less boring.

On a side note, I have some Hemavo2 coming in that I intend to test for Tuesdays Bench/Press session. Looking forward to week two because things start to get a bit heavier. Also, not a fan of deloads so I'll be halfway deloading instead of going full lightweight.

That milk... hnnnngggggg. About to finish my beer and have a glass myself I think. Just hit my protein goals with some grilled chicken breasts, but a little extra milk never hurts.

I'm sticking with beer and will wake to a glass of 1/2 chocolate and 1/2 white, so much win for 1st drink of the day.

Starts every day with 20 oz.-a quart of milk crew checking in. Usually 20 oz with proton powder and a bit to wash it down with. It's like my morning coffee of sorts.

Depends on the temp. If it's cold out I may have coffee. I have so many extra preworkouts that I usually use those for my morning kick though.

Did a bit better today, might just make it. Didn't take any of my usual preworkout supplements to give Hemavo2 a shot and loved it. Got the kind of pumps that hurt on this day. Had some MAN Iso Amino intra again, finishing off with a pound of ground beef and a cold beer.

It was upper day, but all I wanted all day was squats and deads, so hopefully that feeling is still around tomorrow.

I actually pulled first because the squat rack was occupied. I later regretted that decision. By the end of the squats I was torn between puking, crying or puking and crying at the same time.

This forum buddy extension has got me replying faster than ever!

I can't even imagine that pain. I get exhausted enough after squatting. I could not deadlift before or after them. Is there a particular reason why you are doing them on the same day? Not that it is bad, it just seems like it will get much harder to do as you progress.

I've found through experience that doing one before the other helps me with the second exercise. Not sure why. When I read about the option to do them on the same day with BBB, coupled with what I've heard others say about the program, I was sold enough to give it a shot. Really liking it so far.
