60 x 8 / 8x Neutral Grip
70 x 6 / 8x Chin ups

120 x 8 / 155 x 8
120 x 8 / 155 x 8

-Guillotine was solid but tough today.
Conventional Chest Dips / Hammer Grip Chins
BW x 15 / BW x 12
BW x 13 / BW x 10
BW x 11 / BW x 8
Notes:
-Gained quite a few reps on both. These felt good.
Pec Deck / HS Low Row
N/A
Notes:
-I was wearing down and needed to get to work. Someone just got on the pec deck and I said screw it.
Overall Notes:
Almost completely called the day off. Was up later than planned last night and then even with me tired as balls, I coudln't fall asleep. Woke up tired as hell at my usual 7am. At 8am (when I usually leave my place) my eyes even shut on me. I was debating blowing off the gym entirely adn I said screw it, I'll go back to bed for awhile. Set my alarm for 9:30. Woke up then and reset it for 10:15. Then I felt pretty decent. Drank my pre and went to the gym.
Not a great session, but it definitely wasn't bad.

lolol I always love this statement:
"I don't need to drink to have fun." Neither do I, dumbass. The point is to have more fun.
You're doing just fine Copes. If the alcohol starts interfering with things in your life, that is when there is a problem. If you're hiding your use, sneaking drinks, compelled to take drinks all throughout the day (not marathon party days, but like at work, in class, etc etc) there is probably a problem. If you start getting in trouble at work due to your drinking (or fired), booted from school, neglecting kids, there's a problem.
Partying with others? F*ck it, have a blast and have fun.
Now, if you get so drunk you fall in the fire... on several different occasions, you might need to rethink your drinking habits. But if the worst thing you ever do is drunk dial an ex, confess your undying love and/or your all-encompassing desire to spray your baby batter inside one of the hot chicks at the party, streaking through the whole party on a dare, or anything else that makesa total ass of yourself? Pffft, that's fine. You'll always have a funny story to tell and laugh at.-

I know, as was mine (srs). I wasn't calling you a dumbass. But I've dealt with multiple poeple who would get that snide tone and be like "*scoff* I don't need to drink to have fun."
My first thought is my rant above. Then my next thought is "Maybe you should drink to not be such a bitch."-

I can have fun without drinking, but there are definitely situations where I need to drink to have fun: any time I have to go to a bar for anything other than watching a sporting event, most weddings, or pretty much any place where I am expected to dance.

I had a drinking problem, I couldn't handle my alcohol. I am good now. I believe it is because the frequency has dropped so much. A year or so ago I'd pretty much black out after like 4 drinks and then drink another 20. Now I rarely drink much but the last time I did, it was a ton and I didn't black out. HTH.

Maybe 5-6, but either way it was quick and early. Or it would be after the 20th but I wouldn't remember anything after the 4th one so I attributed it to that. Point being, with the decrease in frequency I remember more even if I drink a ton. I think it was my brain's way of just being like "aw fuk here we go again, see you tomorrow."

Tuesday, January 22nd
Workout: Others
Duration: 60 minutes
Weight: 190.0
Smith Upright row (PWO) / Ab Crunch Machine
50 x 12 / 110 x 12
70 x 10 / 155 x 10
90 x 12 / 185 x 12
90 x 12 / 185 x 12
90 x 11 / 185 x 12
90 x 10 / 185 x 11
Notes:
-Gained a rep on sets 2-4 for the Uprights.
-Did the 4th set on ab crunch machine. Deloaded the weight each rep, it had my abs screaming far more than usual.
Floor Skulls / Alt DB Curl
65 x 10 / 40 x 9
65 x 10 / 40 x 9
65 x 10 / 40 x 8
Notes:
-I like the floor skulls. I could feel my tendinitis was slightly aggravated after all three sets. I am pretty sure that with 1-2 more workouts, my elbows will be just fine with it.
-Curls felt good.
Smith BtB Upright Row (PWO) / Captain's Chair Leg Raises
80 x 13 / BW x 12
80 x 13 / BW x 12
80 x 12 / BW x 12
Notes:
-Got another rep for the first two sets of BtB.
V-bar pressdown / DB Hammer Curl
60 x 14 / 40 x 8
60 x 13 / 40 x 8
60 x 12 / 40 x 8
Notes:
-Things were just fine here.
HS Shoulder Press Machine (PWO) / Decline Push-Crunch
110 x 8 / 35 x 12
110 x 8 / 35 x 12
110 x 7 / 35 x 12
Notes:
-Tough, but good.
Reverse Grip Cable Pressdown / Leg Extension
42.5 x 15 / 125 x 15
42.5 x 14 / 125 x 15
42.5. x 12 / 125 x 13
Notes:
-Doing the leg extensions for a bit more work for them outside of leg day.
Overall Notes:
I liked this workout. Slept in by accident (forgot to adjust my alarm from yesterday), probably for the best.-

Thanks, now I just need to see his ab crunch machine. If it's the same as mine I'm jealous, if it looks different even by just the color than I'll assume it's easier and that's why he gets those weights.
I used to do skull crushers but I decided JM presses are awesomer.Master of karate, and friendship, for everyone crew.
