    Best exercise(s) for lower abs?

I'm trying to figure out why I lost my "sex lines" or whatever the hell they're called. I workout my lower abs pretty consistently, actually I work out my upper, lower, and obliques after almost every workout.

But for some reason I've lost the muscles that creates the V, is it part of your obliques or is it considered your lower abdominal?

Also, what is the best exercise(s) to hit that area?

Attached is a picture of my abs. My left side has it a little (assuming because my left side is more dominate) but my right side has nothing..Are they just underdeveloped? I used to have them before I even really started lifting..

Your best bet is to drop more body fat. But you can also try captain's chairs and dragon flags.

If you lost a little more BF those last 2 abs would come out more, but hitting them harder might bring em out a bit more too. I lie on a flat bench with my hands under my butt with my butt near the end of the bench so my legs are mostly off the bench and sticking out horizontal. Then you lift your legs by contracting your abs until your legs are at about a 90 degree angle or straight up and down. This gets a good burn going and if they are too easy you can do them with ankle weights on.

The V is partly obliques and lower BF, but for the most part the V is genetics. Some people dont have it at all.

You're one of the few "abs" posters in this forum who's not in the red, OP.
    No brain, no gain.

    You can't out-train bad nutrition.

"The fitness and nutrition world is a breeding ground for obsessive-compulsive behavior. The irony is that many of the things people worry about have no impact on results either way, and therefore aren't worth an ounce of concern."--Alan Aragon

^That's a good one. I think they are called lemon squeezes.

Hanging leg raises are one of my favorite ab exercises. I recommend doing those.

i got tons of BF, and i got a V going on thanks to lots and lots of weighted hang leg raises. i also do ALOT of sidebends and cable twists almost daily.

ive also started doing drag flys which are AWESOME for abs, was a nice addition recently that shocked them good.

Lol, of course I'm not in the red, I provide value to this forum.

Just curious about that particular muscle since mine seemed to randomly disappear.
