I recall there being a sticky but can't find it. What is the solution for mobile redirects?

There was a redirect issue about a year ago but that was since resolved, what's going on?

I'm using the forum, either on a mobile browser or the mobile app, and it acts like I clicked on an ad and I am redirected to the App Store. It is most often for uber. This happens even when I do not click anything and am just reading a thread. I'm using iOS. This has not happened on any other sites or apps.

It seems like an issue with some pop-ups in the ad program, could you download the HTTPwatch app? This will allow you to capture ad calls on mobile which will help our ad team find which ad files are the culprit.

I downloaded the app and experienced the issue. How do I give you the info? I can "save".

You should click on the ad and get the redirect. From there you should have access to the info with what ad server its coming from.

FS, I have been having the same repeated issue however sometimes it takes you completely out of the forum with no way to go back in. Here is a photo of one of the pop ups

Here is a link that tries to re-route only to freeze and you have to close and open another page and log back in.

This has been getting out of hand and really annoying lately on iOS

I have the old school bb.com app and it will redirect me as much as 10 consecutive times, or make the app crash.

PLEASE FIX THIS!

Please download the previously mentioned app to get the ad servers that are sending these.

Until it gets fixed, I've found that blocking cookies allows me to misc without crippling redirects.

It may be a wonder cure, or it may just work for me.

But it's worth mentioning, as I can finally misc without any problems

Could have sworn I posted that I was just using Firefox with ad block. Post seems to be gone now. The same thing seems to have been happening on imgur for a year and hasn't been resolved. I think ad companies are just taking advantage of the flaws in mobile web pages and sites are allowing it.
