Yea cause nothing helps u get cut like an extra 10lbs of water...
Or cramping over and over while doing cardio....
U wanna maintain strength while cutting then up your amino intake up
Only option may be a creatine EE or creatine hydrochloride but most people don't have the same strength gains from those as old fashioned monohydrate

You don't drink enough water or are not getting the right minerals or electrolytes. You should never get muscle cramps.
Cutting water weight is the kind of thing you might do for a competition, unless you are about to do a shoot or are vain enough to worry about what you look like on the beach, I would rather have the strength and recovery boosting effects of creatine while cutting.

Creatine doesn't need to be cycled this day and age. It is useful for everyone, and as stated, can help you keep energy/strength levels up while cutting.
Creatine monohydrate can make you retain water, if you dose too much.
you can avoid that dilemma by using Ethyl Ester, kre-alkalyn, or any other modern form of creatine that has been altered so you don't have to overdose on creatine to get its benefits.-

Creatine causes water to be held intra-muscular, not subcutaneous. It does NOT hold you back in the definition department. So holding an extra "10 lbs of water" statement is invalid.
If you are cramping while using creatine, you aren't drinking enough water. You may also be using an inferior brand (read cheap).
Since when did amino acids aid strength?
CEE and many of the other newer creatine forms are garbage with no clinical tests to prove their worth. This is my opinion as I tested CEE with no results. Studies cited by these new-gen creatines are based on monohydrate studies.
To OP: Creatine will not really begin to show it's benefits until after a few weeks, not one. Perhaps your change in diet is doing this.
I'm dissapointed there were no pen0r lulz to be had in response to title.Use the tools of the trade to help you. I use devices such as chalk for grip strength, gloves, wrist straps, lifting belts - if it helps you lift more, it's all good. - Ronnie Coleman, Hardcore, 2007 Triumph Books
Biggest question in bodybuilding: Whaddaya bench? As I've said before, it doesn't matter how much you bench; it matters how much you look like you bench... There's no round on stage that's the benchpress round. - Bob Chicherillo, World Class Physique, CMG
