I just got an assignment to write a persuasive/research paper on any topic I choose. Since I recently started a keto diet, I've decided to write my paper on why ketogenic diets are generally better than the high carb low fat low protein diet that the government and schools have been pushing over the years through the food pyramid. I also plan to include information on how these high carb diets have contributed to more common cases of diabetes and also child obesity. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I like and recommend both the 40/40/20 diet and keto to a lot of people. For ME, keto is easier to follow and has shown nice results. For others, 40/40/20 is easier to follow.
Personally, I think it's good to switch up now and then. Do keto for a few months. Switch to 40/40/20 for a couple months. Go back to keto. Go to 40/30/30. Keep the body guessing.Ron J
