    Pizza build muscle?

    Hey guys,

    Does pizza build muscle after or not a workout because of the huge amount of calories that it contains?

    I heard it does, how true is this?

    If you're getting the right amount of calories total, then yeah, any food can technically contribute to muscle development. It's not the healthiest way to go about it, but better than nothing or better than something that's pure fat and sugar. In moderation it's alright

    Pizza is a power house (depending on what kind you get) of nutrients. Only problem with it is its so easy to down 1500 or so calories without really trying that hard.

    Pizza can be made so many ways, it is a great food. It is also a great way to add veggies for those who would not normally eat a broad range of veggies. I usually make my own, with garlic, pepperoni, italian sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes, basil, olives, peppers, artichoke hearts, olive oil and provolone. You can also top it with mozzarella or CC if you want to add some more cals.
