Is there any recommendations for a good pullup bar that doesnt require drilling and doesnt cause any damage to the door frame thats fairly cheap and decent in price.

My girlfriend bought me an iron gym. I never used it because I thought it would be hard on the door frame.
I used it last week and it works just fine, no damage, and I'm finally doing pull-ups again.
I think it's less than $30."I came out here to enjoy nature, don't talk to me about the environment". - Denny Crane

I searched around for you and I found 2 on amazon that I think you would like:

That is the one that I use and love it and I have had it for 6 months and no damage.

This is the extreme edition of the iron gym, but search craigslist and see if you can kind a deal on there. Hope this helps man.

How about one of these free standing multi units? There are several different units available, I just posted a real cheap one: http://www.google.com/products/catal...d=0CD4Q8wIwAg#

I have this one, no complaints so far. Only thing, I would question its stability over a longer period of time if you plan on really putting it to the test. But I have done several workouts with 100+ pull ups and havent had issues. Love the raise design, I hope others copy it an make a heavy duty reinforced version.

Why are you doing that? You can buy the standard Iron Gym for about $20 from just about any store-Walmart, Walgreens, Bed bath and Beyond, CVS, etc. Heck, I see them on Craigslist all the time for $10-15.
I got the Iron Gym Xtreme for $24.99. (I assume you didnt search for any reviews on these before or after making this thread).
So I guess I question you getting one on ebay, assuming that you will have to pay shipping. That will likely kill any real savings you get.[]---[] Equipment Crew Member #14

Alright. I just firgure it would be easier to go ahead and have it, rather than hoping to win the auction, and then waiting for shipment.
Also, here is the review I mentioned:

OP: Make sure you don't try to use the bar from the wrong side. It might sound like stupid advice since it's obvious but one BB.com member allegedly used it incorrectly and hurt his knee. On top of that, he was thinking of suing the company for not having an idiot warning.

I have one (Gold' Gym) that looks identical to that one and it's worked well. I mostly do pull up outside (usully on rings) but on the few occasions that I can't or don't want to, I use the door pull up bar.
