    Too much?

Currently on a cut for approximately 3 months. my training routine is a bit wild but is it too much to the point where i'd over train? feedback please.

    Monday- Calisthetics and cardio
    Tuesday- Chest back abs
    Wednesday- calisthetics legs cardio
    Thursday- Shoulders abs
    Friday- Arms cardio
    Saturday Calisthetics abs
    Sunday --

I really like doing calisthetics so i try to get in about 20 sets of dips 15 sets of pullups and 15 sets of pushups

Cardio isn't going to overtrain you, and a 5 day split definitely won't overtrain you, so no. If anything it's too little.

What he means is 5 day splits are inefficient compared to higher frequency routines, like a full body routine or an upper / lower.

well are we speaking for the best in a cut? or in general? however, 5 day splits do give you the advantage to hit muscles more directly as well as targeting them a bit more than a full body, right?

In general they are inefficient. You can hit smaller muscle groups harder but it is still training a muscle once a week vs. training is 2-3x a week.

Calisthenics do not provide significant stimulation. That's sort of like saying I work my legs 7x a week because I jog every day.

I mean, as long as your not in a rediculous calorie deficet or doing hour long sessions of hard cardio, You should be fine. Wont be overtraining persay, but doing too much cardio combined with weight training and not eating at least a decent amount will make you feel alot ****tier then you should on a cut.

in jail, alot of calisthenics go on. the guys are quite big and ripped. Don't know too much about how they train but from what i've heard, they throw in some weights also.
