Still on a deload with my bench press. Bumped up the high sets to 145 this week, felt fine, easy, was going for 5 reps and no more, hit it with no issues. Trying to keep all 135 sets at 10 only, no point in going nuts with that while I'm still deloading this lift. Feel fine, will see how things feel the next two days. If ok then will bump either on reps of 145 or go to like 150 next week. Trying not to go to fast, I think that's where the problem comes in. Slow and steady, Weeble Hammish, slow and steady.

Hey, do you think you could do single arm bench press with a BB on a landmine? I am thinking of trying since I have limited DB. Don't know if it will arc wrong. Thoughts Safety Officer Ham?Spoon Barbell Club

Lately no I haven't specifically been doing cgbp. I know, my reg is damn close though haha. When I was doing cgbp I'd only go up to about 115lbs, I think that's part of what made my bench take off so quick, but I don't want it to overpower everything else so I do minimal push work now.
Haha thanks JJ! Oooff I think that's a bad idea, I think that may pull your arm the wrong way or something, doesn't seem like any good would come of it. You just trying to do unilateral bp? Doing single arm bench with a barbell would be the only thing I could think of but that'd be a pain in the ass to rack/unrack. Do you have an issue with one of your sides being noticeably stronger?

I did those before I found it difficult to keep both sides consistent, like I'd be doing them differently on both sides because it was hard to line up the angles. It did work though, just a bit hard to get used to. If you start off light they are pretty safe.

Rest Day today, eating lots of foodz.
Also pretty certain this stupid tooth/dental crown is going to fall out again, srs. Thing hurts like a bitch, has been bothering me for months. Have literally been to the dentist 3x since May, they xrayed it and everything and said it was fine. I dunno, feels like this thing is gonna go BOOM any day now. I'd know if it was infected with demon spawn and about to kill me riiiight?? Lol I just don't want to waste my time going in if there's nothing that can be done which I assume is the case.

Lmao, thanks G-dog!
Thanks Una, that's the powerlifting setup for bench for leg drive. It's not necessary depending what you're trying to do (make sure you plant your feet in general though) but gets a nice tightness and spring action thing going on.
Uh oh. Root canal time?
As for my gotdamn tooth... I looked wayyy back there and I **** you not, it looks like that filling I just got in June fell apart. No wonder it's all rustled. Will have to call and see if I can have someone look at it sigh. I really hate going back for this stuff, they're always like wtf are you eating?! My teeth are wearing down all weird or something, I dunno, something is definitely up because I waste so much farking time brushing, flossing, and Listerine-ing, I seriously doubt anyone spends as much time on that crap as I do and it really doesn't seem to help in the least. I try to combine my eating too and not eat so many times through the day and as of a couple yrs ago switched to drinking water or decaf tea with Splenda. Don't drink sugar, don't drink carbonated anything, don't smoke, I don't understand how it is physically possible for these huge ass problems to come about like a month after I was just as the dentist, W... T... F! Seriously guise I am sooo afraid of dental stuff in general I try so hard to stay out of there. Also getting annoyed going back monthly because I think they think I'm a complete idiot who's not putting in an effort.

Great workout of rage! Had a terrible rage inducing day at work, morons gonna moron. Also did not feel well this morning, ugh, woke up with those violent hiccups (always know I'm in for a few hrs of feeling like I have food poisoning when that happens srs.) Was a miserable drive to work having to stop 3x. I dunno wtf that is when I wake up with those hiccups but it messes me up big time.
Day got better when I got my mail at home and got a couple cool b-day cards. Was quite tired and kinda "meh" about going to lift today but got into it immediately, fun was had. Just did OHP last Thursday so I only did a couple heavy sets today. Went all out on the squats, very challenging but I think my form is holding up well.
Also cut the sleeves off of some sup t-shirts like above cause I have some nice tees but don't fit in em anymore as far as arms/shoulders, adult medium, not even once, lulz.Current PRs:

Workouts of rage! Yay! As you know, it is you who inspires me to rage on through when my day/lifts are crappy, instead of throwing down the barbell and stomping on home.
Stoopid teeth I agree with Lori - genetics! It sucks, I know. I'm anal about my teeth, too... I finally went to the dentist after a four year hiatus, and had three cavities. Was devastated. Dentist was all, "No! Don't be sad! If you hadn't been taking such great care of your teeth, you'd have fifteen cavities by now!" Genetics, he says.
Regardless, it's annoying/scary that you have to keep going back there. Maybe you should take Santa Ham along for cuddles and moral support. And to freak out the dentist people.

Hammie, go pick up some Ranitidine/Zantac and take 1 before bed please It's most likely acid reflux, it can be of the silent kind that doesn't burn your eso****us and that can wreak havoc on your teeth, moreso if they are soft to begin with. Try it They'll settle the nausea that comes with it, too.

Yeahhhh budddddyyyyy!
Wow nice comment, thanks! Yes I am feeling good today.
Ah perhaps. A huge benefit of my current place is they're open on Saturdays and evenings, I know that sounds stupid but before this I had to cancel dental appointments constantly because people call off on me at work. I really can't plan anything during the week with the unreliability I have to deal with from people at work.
NICE!!
Hamm kicking butt and taking names.
Well was gonna DL tomorrow but I already had somebody call off for tomorrow and most likely Fri too so prob no lifting til Sat. For the line of work I'm in you need to meet a ridiculously specific list of requirements to get in (no I don't make those requirements) and we're usually left with the types who have horrible attendance and work ethic because there are just so few people that even qualify anymore (the ones that do usually got fired from something similar already and then find us.) So there you go, this is why I get a call-off at least once a week.
