You had good depth. I agree with Josh that you got deeper as your sets went on, which is what usually happens to me as well. On those last few reps at 165 though, you seemed to get forward a little bit when you were trying to come up. I would just choke that up to being tired, but just something to think about so as not to hurt yourself or take the work off the legs. Nice lifting though. I particularly like the last few reps where you start at a low whimper/whine and explode into a RAWR at the end. HAHAHA. ;-)

Damn neighbor, spoiling your wood chopping fun. Grrr. Cracking up visualizing almond butter all over the front door because he interrupted the all-important pwo meal. In b4 all the neighborhood dogs are on Hammie's porch lining up to lick door!

LOL well I was taunting the storm, guess it decided to fight back. I was gonna say they always wanna talk to me when I'm eating but in all fairness I eat like 8x a day so the odds are against them. I still have somebody's window screen in my garage, oh lawd.
Thanks Erica, I'm gonna drop the weight on my next squat day of death and destruction and work on a few things. Lol that is the sound of a ham giving it 110%.
LOL, it's so weird my big hammie cat figured out she LOVES almond butter and will attack me every time I have it out. Whenever anybody rings my doorbell I am eating, srs, I should put a sign out front: Beware the hams are feeding.

Thanks Eric! The arm hasn't bothered me all weekend, oh happy day!
Haha yeah that statue does have whimsical powers. I have like a million huge ass trees in the woods behind the house and not one tried to fall on me.
Thanks Gobbz!
Today there shall be lifting in the home gym! I was so exhausted from work and stuff last week that I didn't even wake up til 3 yesterday , srs, have never done that before. So I just stayed home, got a lot of my weekend tasks done so I don't have to do them today. Took some melatonin last night, got a solid 8hrs of sleep and feel awesome today. I'm thinking maybe Chest/Shoulders today. Want to get in DL and Squat early in the week since I'll be working all day Thurs/Fri. I have to take 2 of the cats to the vet tomorrow for shots, anybody know where I can get a cat net to round them up? lulz Any other day they will let me pick them up no prob, but they always know when it's vet time and will make me DL the couch and move the fridge to get them.

Lol you hit it dead on - they DO have telepathic powers!
I may try those Reeves Rows, I have a shorter ez bar at home I could use to accomodate my t-rex arms lulz. That's a great site, has awared me on a lot of things.
Aww Echo your squats are not horrid. I got some excellent advice in OV35 (they did not neg me for posting there haha ) so I'm a lot more confident about my squats and the tweaks I need to make. That was my first time trying melatonin, had samples of this IChill stuff I got for free. I don't know the dosage, but I drank a 5hr Engery sized bottle and man that shiz chills you out. Great workout! My shoulders are getting stronger bwahhahahaha!!! I haven't done seated db press in years srs. I guess 40s aren't that terrible lol, kinda equivalent to 80 on the bar, somewhat. I think the bb is easier because it requires little stabilization. I put the seat back one notch to make it easier to get the dbs up and down from position, gotta get my knee up there at the end to rescue my left arm from trying to put that db down, it works. I'll keep up with those and see how it goes, hopefully they'll help. I am like a ninja who waddles into the night, giving maximum effort on shoulder press week after week, and them BOOM - Ham will be the Shoulder Master of Death and Destruction! Nice work on the PR! I am the Shoulder Master of Death and Destruction so you can be the female equivalent of it. I actually find dumbbells easier myself. I was the opposite in that I didn't do barbell OHP for years untill a few months ago. I did do it on a Smith, but I'm not sure that counts.

Yesssss!!! We will rampage through the city shouldering over buildings and crushing all in our path BWAHHAHAHAHA!!! Hmmm yeah maybe I'll get better at db after I do it a few times, seriously has been YEARS.
No prob man, yeah I would be happier at the 50s on shoulder press, but in that case I'd be repping 100 on bb pretty easy, so I'll take it for now. (Stay tuned for 50s and repping 100 on bb OHP soon.... ohhhh very soon.) Each morsel of chicken and oatmeal I consume makes my shoulders that much stronger. No shirt sleeves are safe.
Thanks Eric!
No lifting today, just gonna get some stuff done at home. Also took 2 kittehs in for checkups (somehow all 3 ended up needing physicals in the same 3wk period, weird.) One cat has never had any medical problem and HATES to be picked up. It took me a good half hour to chase her down. I got her corralled in my bedroom and had to take apart my bed, matress, boxspring (I'm too big too fit under the bed.) Then it was an amazing display of atheleticism (on her part, not mine) jumping over furniture, me, and roadblocks I put in the way to try and capture her. I did a few ham rolls, I tripped a few times, I fell, I knocked things over. At one point I was bleeding. She was growling, I was sweating, it was all bad. We're home now and she's hiding under the couch, probaby won't see her for the rest of the week. Everybody's healthy though lol.Current PRs:

ok so i am way behind. sorry about that! i had to go back to your squat day and first. thank you SO MUCH for posting those bc i see you struggling and pushing yourself to keep form and get those lifts and i realised that in my session today i was just being wimpy and feeling sorry for myself. you're amazing and always give it everything you have.
the squats i noticed something that i do, and i dont know why it is that it happens, but your bar leans to the left a bit when you go down. i dont know if its to do with a hip issue or shoulder issue or what, but id like to solve it for my own damn self as well.
the OHP = WOOT!!! and IMHO you should wear tanks like that everywhere you go bc you look frickin awesome!
and finally poor kitteh! my cat is the same way. haaaaaaaates going to the vet so much and will scrabble away from me any ways she can. its like she has radar for it. she's 12 now, and finally lets me pick her up and cary her in the house, but if she even smells the cat carrier she turns into a LUNATIC.
and after it's all said and done, she won't look at me for a week. i can ply her with catnip or wet food and she still will be filled with growly indignation.

I'm a little hurt that YOU, hobbes, are trying to take my OHP title away from me. lol. not srs. It's just not fair. You have the bench press, back squats, BB rows, zerchers, and dang near deadlifts. What does that leave me. Lift hog!
srs, good job on the OHP improvements. Always feels good to see/feel improvement."There's something about a heavy weight that makes a body not want to get under it. Wow, that sounds like quite the ordeal getting kitty to the vet It's crazy what a cat is capable of when they don't want to do something. Maybe chasing the cat can be a new form of cardio! I can see the infomercials nowIf this were easy, everyone would walk around ripped.

Thanks Geek, yes squats are still incredibly hard for me (for most people I think) and I was trying my all to get some good form there. If nothing else, try and try hard. ] Yeah I do lean, one hip is kinda out of alignment from I have no idea what. Thanks I do love my tanks. (The kittehs luvs me again too haha.)
Haha man those damn shoulders, brb not OHPing 6mths out of every yr due to shoulderfuk. It'll take me a while to get to MMA status on those though. Oh yeah, I'll hit that 3 plate DL no prob too, tee hee.
Bahhaha, I'm always amazed how much more agile/intelligent/sneaky they are compare to me in that situation lol.
Thanks FLEX, I'm givin' it the effort of 10,000 hams.
On barbell yes, dumbbell no. I don't think MMA bb benches often either, I do it like twice a yr lulz. In fairness Boomz has the wrist issue that makes db bench difficult for her. Pretty sure between the 3 of us we could bp a vending machine off of somebody.

55s x 9
60s x 7
55s x 9
50s x 12
60s x 7 lol this was a fun set
55s x 9 also fun haha
Shoulder feels pretty damn good when I do a sh!tton of sets like that, slowly moving up to working weights. Did damn arm circles between every set, amazing how much that helps get blood flowing though. Played around with bb bench, meh, well at least it felt better than it did a couple months ago when I tried. If this doesn't cause issues the next couple days that make me swear off of bb again then I won't wait months to try em again lol.
Flat BB Bench:
45x8
75x8
105x8
120x7
135x4 lolol, can only go up from here
Incline BB Bench:
45x8
75x8
105x1 bailed on rep 2, shoulder told me to fuk off :/
RC WORK:
Int. Band Rotations (Red): 1x15
Ext. Band Rotations (Red): 1x15
Iced the shoulders so hopefully we are good. Apparently if I do a million reps of db bench beforehand I can actually attempt bb bench. Tried Sunday just bb bench, had shoulderfuk issues with just the empty bar srs. It wasn't terrible or anything, but enough where I was not willing to risk it. After all that chest work today it felt surprisingly ok to do it, not great, but ok. Shoulders don't hurt at all in daily life and I've kept up with rehab work on my own to strengthen my RCs so I'm seeing is this is something I can overcome.
The DL arm thing is something I still need to work on, but it's getting better now that I'm aware it's a problem. My mind is blown that my arms never feel sore, hurt, or weird from that, but hey I'm not complaining lol. Yet another thing to fix, I'll get it.Current PRs:
