    Gaining weight???

Hi, I just started lifting again and have ran into a serious dilemma here.

It has been about a month now since I started again. Somehow I have manged to put on 9 lbs in the last month and am very confused. I have went from 175-184 Before this month I was being super lazy with hardly any exercise and eating tons of pizza and fastfood all day long. Since I started again I have been eating like this:

Breakfast-- 730-800ish: Scrambled eggs or 4 boiled eggs, possibly a slice or two or short strip bacon.

Lunch-- 1230ish: 2x Chicken breast(I'd say between 4-6Oz) and sometimes a little white rice and veggies for some quick carbs till I get off work. Little meaning like two bite of each.

Dinner-- 545ish (Post Workout): 2x Chicken Breasts Salad (Lettuce, small amount of cheese, black olives, mushrooms. I generally eat some fruit here. Either a banana or a few small slices of watermelon for the post workout sugar.

This seems to be healthy to me along with my Multi. I drink tons of water, I go urinate about once every 1 1/2 hours and it's always clear so I'm well hydrated. I worked out MTWTHF and take the weekends off to recover. My split is:

    Chest/Tri, Back/Bi, Shoulders/Traps, Arms/Maybe Chest, Legs.

I really can't tell how I would be putting on weight with this diet. My workouts are fairly intense, I'm not the dude who is throwing up every workout but, I do take it seriously and push myself during my sets. Occasionally I run in the morning for 20-30 minutes but, it's fairly sporadic and not a daily thing.

Anyways, has anyone else ran into this problem? I'm trying to drop some fat off here but, I seem to be gaining weight. I haven't noticed anymore fat adding on but, I think it is slowly dropping not too sure about it though.

really confused. if you are gaining weight but not gaining fat then you are only gaining muscle you just cant see the change yet. there are better splits than yours, 5 workout days with rest on the weekend is not a great split and you would be better suited with a 4 day split wish rest inbetween. Even if you just changed wednesday to a rest day in addition to the weekends rest it would be a positive adjustment. hope i answered your question
