I begin tomorrow. Eighteen weeks in this dark hole. 126 days of pain. 3024 hours of hunger and desire. I'm already counting the minutes, the seconds When it's over, I'll step into the light. I will shine...

Until then, you'll live in the shadow, in the darkness, in a place few will ever see... Where ugliness becomes beautiful.

It really depends on whats available when it gets to be your turn. I would personally take a good RB in the first round and then either your second RB or a WR in the second. RB's are HIGH point scorers and the position isn't as deep as WR's.

I wouldn't take your QB until 3rd or 4th round or so, if there is a still a lot of big names or theres a good value for another position you can let it slide to the 5th round, I wouldn't personally wait much longer than that.

Somewhere in the 3rd-5th rounds I would take a 2nd WR, and maybe an elite defense/TE to go with your QB. 6th-9th, try to find the best value for each pick and continue to fill out your team bud.

This is just a general idea of what I would do to help get you started, but having a draft plan is kind of like reading the instructions before you build something. You're going to end up throwing most of it out the window I'm sure.

You might take a look at some mock drafts or even participate in a mock draft to get good feel of who might go in what round so you can scout out and research your picks a bit more. This will help you sort of get the feel for things before it gets time for the big dance. If you have any more questions, I'm by no means an expert but shoot me a PM or something.

Doesn't state anything on flex position but I edited the top to provide more information.

I'd go with a RB if I could first and then probably second as well. With passing tds worth only 4, QBs aren't quite so valuable so honestly I would wait until 3 or 4 have come off of the board at least before I thought about taking one. In a format like this you will probably want to have your RBs taken in the first 3, maybe 4 rounds, because they'll be your biggest producers. You really just have to feel out your draft. It helps if you're aware enough of your opponents roster to try to get a feel for what they may take (if a guy already has a QB you can imagine he's not taking another until most of his roster is complete) and adjust your rankings slightly based on that.

Save a kicker for last or don't draft one. I saw a guy draft a kicker in the 5th round once (srs). Usually I don't even draft one, I spend my last couple of picks on guys that are in training camp battles to become starters and then choose someone to drop for a kicker right before week 1 based on the outcome of those battles.

yeah for sure. if you go into the draft and say like "alright, by the end of the 3rd round, I want to have my starting QB, RB, and WR" then you're forced to pick players of a certain position. say theres a run on WR's and you don't have one yet. you go to pick a tier 2 or 3 WR when its still the 2nd round and there are still huge steals on RB and QB to be had.

always go into the draft looking at who is falling and matching value to the pick.
