What supplements would YOU use for a recomp?

going to do a 6-8 week recomp in a few weeks hopefully maintain muscle/strength and drop a little body fat. So I wanted to know what supplements you would use on a recomp and why?

What supplements do you feel are a must have? I have 2 bottles of bioforge that I plan to run along with creatine/beta alanine.

For someone your age I'd go with either X-Factor/Max Out and possibly throw in E-Bol if you've got some cash. It depends whether you want to take a chance on a test-booster at 22, but the above is a much 'safer' bet in terms of results.

#1 important factor in recomping is NUTRITION - if that's not on pointe, then supplements are not going to make up for it. Then you need to make sure your TRAINING is up to speed for your goal as well.

As far as recomp supplements, along with the BASIC STAPLES (creatine, multivtiamin, good fats, protein, and BCAAs), a Growth Hormone/Testosterone boosting stack, is, the most effective for a recomp.

My personal favourite recomp stack (including the staples):
* IGF-2 - the best recovery product ever IMO, as well as allowing you to maintain leanness whilst gaining:

IGF-2 is IMO very UNDERrated and is my favourite product in the AN range. IGF-2 assists me in gaining muscle mass whilst simultaneously allowing me to stay relatively lean (<10% BF), all the time on ~4000 cal/day! It is an excellent recomp product, with my strength constantly improving as well. My muscles are noticeably harder when I'm using IGF-2 compared to when I am not. Recovery on IGF-2 is great: Within a few days of using IGF-2 DOMS is completely eliminated, and my sleep is also deeper (especially is used in conjunction with Lipotrophin-PM).

* FREE TEST - increases FREE Testosterone, which is what you want for results; see my log at The Female Terminator Trains to FREE TEST

FREE TEST was pretty awesome re strength gains for me. The other most noticeable effects were that I gained muscle mass in my arms - a FIRST, and libido was skyhigh most of the time. If you can, I definitely recommend using it for at least 8 weeks to get the most out of it - although just a single bottle will give pretty good results as well!

* BLACK CATS - provides insane energy and focus:

1 cap provides clean, lasting energy that lasts me for 16-18 hours, and has me bouncing around the gym during training, not even having to take a second dose!...2 caps, and I am WIRED, and within 15 minutes of dosing first thing, I am wide awake and alert and bouncing around like an excitable puppy, thumping up and down the stairs, "stimmed out of your mind", as my husband calls it...Since using BLACK CATS, my appetite has been ANNIHILATED - and it's NOT from stress, which can cause me to swing both ways - and for me to NOT be hungry, and not want be able to or to want to keep eating once I start, is HUGE. Nothing else has done this for me re appetite, and BLACK CATS makes "dieting" for competition so much EASIER, instead of a constant daily battle..

* A nutrient repartitioner - I use NeoVar Recomped (which is also a creatine, so two products in one)

I like NeoVar Recomped because not only is it a creatine product, but it also acts as a nutrient repartitioner and insulin mimic. Aside from helping with recovery, NeoVar Recomped is awesome to use on high calorie/carbohydrate days. On such days I double-dose NeoVar Recomped pre-bed, and the next day have none of the water retention or bloating that would usually occur after such days...

* Some might also want to use a fat burner, but this is give or take, IMO - if your nutrition and training are set up right, complimented by such a stack as listed above, then you don't need this
