Would be eating 12 whole eggs a day be ok?

    930 calories
    63g fat
    75g protein
    7g carbs

For only two bucks this would get in a good portion of my calories and proteins. Is this a smart thing to do?

I'd do less and vary up the food in your diet. Don't get tunnel vision on calories and the macros. Don't forget about all the other good stuff in whole natural foods like vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients!

Plus it seems like an easy way to burn out on that quick.

If you buy in bulk you should be able to get them cheaper.
    I pay 1.00/dozen
having said that, i would say variety is better over the long haul.

Thanks for the replies. I don't plan on doing this every day but I'm usually short on cash and this would help me in that dept. Thanks again.

for 1.50 you can get the same protein with chicken and then use the other 50cents on Peanut butter for calories (for variety)
Other dirt cheap foods: dry beans, oats, milk

Try $3.99 a doz here in Hawaii.

When they go on sale for 18 for $5.99 and get another 18 free, I load up. That comes out to $2 bucks a dozen which is a bargain in Hawaii (unless you have your own hen, which people do).

My housemate gets pissy that I take up the fridge. Not my fault he never buys enough to actually cook everyday.

But really, 12 eggs is fine if that is how you are getting your macros. I'd just get sick of them fast. But definitely, buy in bulk.
Short term Goal: To cut back before bulking like a demon.
Mid term Goal: To find myself.
Long term Goal: To get what's mine.
