I'm one of the older millenials and life is pretty awesome. Neither one of us came out of college with debt (I had the GI Bill, she worked and saved; both went to a small, cheap state school). Been married almost 14 years. Household income in the six figures after making pretty crap money through our 20's. Homeowners for 3 years now. No debt. Expecting to retire by 2021-2022.

I haven't "taken the next step" with my GF of 6 years. And this is something we have mutually agreed and spoken about on numerous occasions. We cannot afford a family where where we live right now (Miami,FL). So before we get married or think about kids or anything, owning a home if the first thing on our agenda.
Are you not entertained?

LOL at all those tools blaming Reagan for their problems.
Cliffs:
Rack up huge debt for college degree.
Get degree that has no real value to employers.
Can't get good paying job to pay off debt.
Blame parents.
Blame Baby Boomers.
Blame Ronald Reagan.
Blame Donald Trump.
Blame Greedy Banks.

This is the correct sequence.
I'm an older millennial and I'm killing it at life. Why? Because I did a HARD major (BS EE) and not some BS degree like all these other idiots. They seriously can't grasp that they aren't special, they don't have any skills that anybody would pay them for, so it must be unfair evil Patriarchy keeping them down, need socialism!
I'm one of the never-married 34+ year olds though - why would I get married? I make a lot of money, and girls these days don't bring CHIT to the table in terms of long term / stable / wifely duties. All they can offer me is their youth / beauty / sex which they are also giving up to every other guy....so why on earth would I incur the enormous financial liability of locking one down?
This is the end result of feminism, it's not even about "getting back" at them for being so chitty for the last 30 years, it's just a simple cost / benefit analysis, they bring nothing to the table.

Which is the exact reason why government should be OUT of education.
With all government programs, the results keep getting worse and worse, the political climbers make their way to the top, and they just keep throwing more money at the problem with zero results.
Education needs to be state/local, as soon as government created the Dept of Education you immediately saw a massive reduction in the quality of education. Plus to get any federal funds the schools and administrators have to enact insane policies like Title 9, it's a joke.
The conspiratorial person in me seriously believes this is intentional
