6 weeks ago i was 193 lbs 18% bf today I am 172 lbs 12.8% bf. I take into consideration the water weight I have lost from the EC stack but over all it feels great to see my viens coming out and abs lol. But over this 6 weeks I have not done even 2 mins of cardio, just lifting 3 times a week and dieting like a pro lol. I find my BMR and eat like 300-400 less cals then it. So im at about 1500 cals right now, I have a refuel day once every 2 weeks, which today was it so I had a 3rd pound angus burger lmfao yumm. I eat 5 meals a day 300 cals a peice and carbs for the first two and pretty much just protein and some fat in the other 3. My strength hasn't really moved, but in my opinon if you hate cardio don't do it just get your diet in check and your set. Going to start yohimbine for a month and see if it will help with that last 3 percent BF i wanna lose.

Sounds good man, keep up the good work! unfortunately due to certain reasons i cant be doing any cardio or lifting for a while, ive got on a classic diet i used back in my heavy training days and managed to lose 5 pounds in the first week, though some of it is likely water weight i lost it with no training whatsoever!
keep at it!

If I'm right, 193lbs@18% has a maintenance level of about 2700 kcal (lightly active - 3 days exercise), according to the Harris-Benedict formula. You have been on a 1500 kcal diet, creating a deficit of 1200 kcal. Is that advised? (asking to everyone else as well)
Did you loose much muscle? How did this cut affect your workouts? Been able to lift the same weights/went lower in reps/...? Info please
Good job!

Great job on the cut! Sure, we all know that weight loss/fat loss is all about creating a deficit. It doesnt matter whether you create it with cardio or just eating less.
However, doing cardio increases your cardio-vascular fitness. I have also found that going for a run after a stressful day at work really helps with de-stressing. But I am sure even a weight training session after a stressful workday would have the same result ( I weight train in the AM).
In your case, you have a cheat meal once every two weeks while eating only 1500 calories daily.
For us who do cardio, we can afford to eat more calories daily or have cheat meals more often if our daily intake is moderate.
Again its all about personal preference. There are many ways to skin the cat. You just have to choose one.

Good job.. I can see how you can easily get away without doing any cardio. Cardio just creates a much bigger deficit which can make it harder to stick to your diet throughout the week;and we all know everyone has their own methods, but its the consistency that makes everything work. But again, there are mental benefits to cardio, and there's nothing wrong in training the most important muscle in your body, the heart.

It's a great feeling when you discover that you can cut with just weights and diet. It removes the agonising part of cutting for me, and makes it easier to maintain
I've recently cut from 205lbs @ 23% to 170lbs @ 10-11% without doing a single cardio workout. I still have another 5lbs/2% to go.

I don't have the exact day at hand right now, as I'm at work and my journal/logs are at home. I have been cutting for quite a while though - mid February is when I recall starting, so about 5-6 months. Weight loss has been cruising at a steady 1-1.5lb loss per week, without fail.
So yeah, only 4 weeks to goWhen I go hunting, I just stare at the deer.

yes i will post some when i can get a good after pic taken for sure dont worry
I lifted 3-4 days a week and did heavy weight low reps like 6-8 reps per set
600 cals of protein shake, plenty of bcaa pills between meals and pretty much anything i wanted as long as i got my protein in daily and stay within my cal range
my strength really didnt move to be honest with you but find your BMR with a BMR calculator and eat like 500 less than that
well I started out my bmr was like 2200 so i ate 1700-1750 cals a day but now that i have lost weight my bmr changed to like 1900 so im down to 1500 cals thats as low as i will go and I dont eat carbs with my last two meals.
you have to take into consideration IM ON THE EC STACK SO I AM DRAINING MY BODY OF WATER, so im sure around 5-7 pounds of my weight loss is water bro caffeine will get rid of a lot of water in your body, so if you account for 5-7 pounds of water then maybe i lost 3 lbs of lean mass. I am really not lying guys I try to stay 500-600 cals under maintain sorry if it seems like im lyingSnapback wearing gym rat for life

Cardio? Haven't done that stuff in a few months.
Don't get me wrong, I love it. Cardio makes me 'feel' fit. But it is so freakin draining on a caloric deficit, and completely unnecessary to weight loss.= Misc Anxiety Crew =

This was a triumph. I'm making a note here, "huge success!"

this is the reason i will do cardio for ..
"Increasing aerobic exercise activity has the benefit of burning fat without slowing
metabolic rate. In fact, aerobic exercise causes metabolic adaptations that make the
body more efficient at burning fat."
- John Parillo, Bodybuilding Nutritionist and author of "High Performance
Bodybuilding."
so i think 3 days a week of cardio for minimum of 20 mins even while bulking will minimize the fat gaining saving you weeks of cutting and watching not to eat this and that .
guys come on do not be lazy and not do cardio its healthy .

Is this really rocket science?
Eating at a deficit of 400 calories a day isn't even a pound a week. With lifting, you might lose a pound a week. To me that is standard. I add cardio to get that extra pound loss a week.
So do whatever makes you happier. But notsureifsrs if people think this is something new and great.I Rep back always. Put it in comment.
500+ will 100% get repped back.

www DOT bmi-calculator DOT net/bmr-calculator/harris-benedict-equation/
Total Calorie Needs Example
If you are sedentary, multiply your BMR (1745) by 1.2 = 2094. This is the total number of calories you need in order to maintain your current weight.
Once you know the number of calories needed to maintain your weight, you can easily calculate the number of calories you need to eat in order to gain or lose weight:f you want to lose fat, a useful guideline for lowering your calorie intake is to reduce your calories by at least 500, but not more than 1000 below your maintenance level.
