Hey, im currently 2 weeks out, been dieting about 11 weeks now. In the past couple weeks it would literaly take me 1-2 hours to actualy fall asleep, and its driving me crazy now because i havent slept properly in a couple weeks now. I tried eliminating caffine, but wasnt it. Has this happened to you to?

A couple things that might help......you can try saving some calories and place a larger meal close to bed time (perhaps youre just hungry?)......or look at your overall training volume and intensity. On a diet, you have to reduce your volume as you get leaner (while still maintaining adequate intensity to stimulate protein synthesis) in order to keep from overtraining. Overtraining can lead to poor sleep, which unfortunately becomes very cyclical because poor sleep doesnt allow for good recovery...

yea dont sweat it man, it happens everytime to me the last month usually so i don't even get too worried about it anymore. Its actually easier for me to sleep during the day after my morning cardio session these days. Thankfully I bounce at night for cash so it works kinda well right now.

My pharmacist recommended an OTC sominex, its helped alot with finaly falling asleep. I am using it EOD so i dont get too use to using it, only for the next 5 days till the competition is over. Only problem is i get into such a deep sleep that all i do is dream about food! lol Im not even kidding.....
