What do you do? Do you go anyway and have a lack luster workout? Try and take a nap before you go? Or pound an energy drink?

Days when you're exhausted but want to hit the gym.
Survival. When the jungle tears itself down and builds itself into something new. Guys like you and me, we end up dead. Doesn’t really mean anything. Or, if we happen to live through it, well that doesn’t mean anything either.

I just do it. I find days when I'm not motivated or have enough energy readily are just in need of some exercise - if that makes sense to you? Meaning, the reason you feel exhausted is probably because you haven't been doing much. Get the blood flowing and half way through your routine you'll be amped and ready to go. Also eat a high carb meal, since carbohydrates are the bodies main source of energy. (Don't quote me on it).
"The brain does much more than just recollect. It inter-compares, it synthesizes, it analyzes -- it generates abstractions.
The simplest thought like the concept of the number one, has an elaborate logical underpinning. The brain has its own language for testing the structure and consistency of the world." - Carl Sagan

As others said, on days like that you really need a workout! It always makes me so much happier the rest of the day. Pound some caffeine or something if you really need
