TOP 50: Best Cities in the World (srs)

What is this list based off of? Comparing Auckland with New York is apples and kiwis. IMHO, I've been to a few cities in Canada and I'd still much rather live in New York than Vancouver, Montreal, Toronto or Ottawa.

I posted the link where i got the table from. its below the table. it explains a little who conducted the survery, and what of things they were lookng for.

but you are right, its feels pretty subjective. but when you calculate objective things, like clean running water, crime rates, traffic, then i think you can get some reasonable findings. check it out.

Hahahahaha how the f&ck is NYC on that list? Aside from Wall street, we don't have jack$hit. The quality of living sucks here. A roachy ass apartment for $2,000 a month, cigarettes are $14, the state is so broke that it's on a major ticketing blitz, the government is the #1 employer and there are major hiring freezes and lay offs occuring, we get double taxed on everything and we have more welfare leeches than you can shake a stick at.

Transportation is convenient but that's about it.

No my city is not on the list. It did, however, reach number 52 in the list of the best cities in the UK this year. That was out of 59.

They use a variety of factors such as average wage, average health, transportation, living standards, culture, **** like that. Very subjective really but it's quite a comprehensive set of criteria.

That's what I was thinking.

Never been to most of the cities on the list but I was not impressed with Chicago. The Twin Cities are much nicer cities than Chicago and I don't think they belong on the list either.
