The word slut by definition is not a terrible thing, not even a bad thing. But societies "values" gives the term a bad connotation... There are very few "sluts". Whilst I will grudgingly concede that there are girls who basically get laid all the time due to very poor self-image. They are such a small percentage of women as a whole that they can almost be discounted.

I won't speak for janky but I think we should embrace the word slut, most men don't mind be called a slut so it really goes to show you that the word itself is not bad at its source, more on how its applied.

So rather then not use it, we should look to use it within proper context and not give the word the magnitude of social power it currently has within a very hypocritical society.


I remember a long thread about how its okay for guys to be sluts but not women because its easy for women to get around("all they have to do is spread their legs").

I don't assume that women only have sex because of a lack of self-respect or a need for validation.

I assume that women who have sex with a guy they just met five minutes a go is doing so because she lacks self-respect and/or needs validation.
