Juice Post Workout
I think I've read about this on before, but I could be way off base.
Is it okay to have some apple, orange or whatever juice immediately after a workout with say, 25g carbs in it?
I think I've read that doing so is fine immediately post workout and shouldn't be included in your daily carb allowance, but as I said, I could be way off base.

Ketogenic and Bionic.
No, Fruit juice contains Fructose, just like the whole fruit does. Fructose is metabolized by the liver, and does not refuel your muscles like dextrose would.....therefore, it is not Keto friendly.

Does dextrose go towards your carb total? I know it is a carbohydrate but if it's not processed by the liver does it count?

This ^ and what is a substitute for dextrose?
I thought soda was a good sub but found out high fructose corn syrup does nothing for your muscles.

Gatorade powder is supposed to be good if you can't get a hold of dextrose.
Dextrose is cheap though, a 10lb thing of it is only $25 or so.

You don't need any carbs after cardio.
