    what bodyfat percentage starts to show vascularity on the lower abs for most people? thanks

    I'm seeing vascularity on my lower abs for the first time and I was just caliper tested @ 9.5 %. I'm not sure about other guys though!

    Mine show and Im between 8-9%BF.

    Heavily dependent on genetics. Some may have ripped abs and may never show lower ab vascularity. Just depends.

    Well its mostly body fat. Ab exercises are mostly for developing the muscle so when you are lean enough it will show off more without flexing and stuff... i`m sure you have seen allot of pictures of ppl with really ripped and popping out abdominals and ppl with shallow abs.
    I may be wrong, please correct me if so.

    You definitely have to train your abs to see results (size, definition, and even for vascularity to a certain degree) along with a solid and clean diet.

    You want to do more resistance training and avoid doing high reps. For example, I generally do kneeling cable crunches (140 lb x 5) and then do hanging knee raises. I finish that out with weighted crunches on a medicine ball.

    7-8% for most ppl... you can barely see em at 10%... i guess if you are really pale you can see it at a higher BF%

    I started to have them pop up around 18% BF, I'm sitting around 15% now and they are fairly visable, Just to clafify their not actaully on my abs, just below my lower abs leading to my abs, in saying that I still have a gut right above the vascularity area. I think its genetics, Im starting to see veins coming out of my chest and triceps, I got them in my biceps around 18% BF. Cant wait to see what they look like when im actually sub 10% BF.

    I'm about 12-13% and I can kind of see them, didn't really notice them until recently but that area has become alot harder. I've been doing weighted leg raises.

    i dont know what my bf is. but i just got some crazy vascularity right after one month fasting. it comes from the side of my pelvic area around the hips all the way trough my obliques and clearly ends in serratus aneteriore area around armpit. is crazy this thing about fasting
