Skull Candy. They come with three sizes of bud inside the package, so you can get the most customized fit, even if you have lopsized ears like mine (right smaller than the left).

    But....

Don't get the Nike Vapor adjustable versions they suck and always dislodge. Little too late for me though.

This^^ I made a mistake, and after years of using them, and opted (after I broke my SK) for a slightly cheaper pair of Marshmallows (JVC I think) and they suck. Too quiet, and won't stay in my ear for anything. They sound fine, just nowhere near as good as SK IMO.

    I use these too.
I tried the one's with the three different sizes too ... the small one's were too small and the medium ones were too big.

I throw this link in whenever someone asks about "good earbuds" (also linked in runner's thread), but admit that they're only best for running. Well, you said you want them for running:

    http://www.crutchfield.com/S-oPQpAGT...I.html?tp=1000

You will not and cannot find a more suitable pair of headphones for running. Aside from the odd color, lol, you won't know they're on your head. And has anyone offered a pair that you can actually rinse under water after each run? I've had these for about 1.5yrs now and have never regretted paying $55 for them...but you can get em' for about $35 now, I think. If you want them for working out...not the best choice (rear neckband not good for BP, etc..). But for running and if you sweat a lot? ....the most durable phones I know of.

Skull Candys are great not only for the reasons mentioned above, but there is a 1 year warranty on most of their headphones. If anything happens to them, just bring the receipt and headphones back to where you purchased them, and they will give you a new pair- no questions asked.

What's the sound quality like with the Skull Candy buds?

I used to have this problem and switched to the sony ones that have a piecs that hooks around the ear. never had a problem sinc. They are also about $10 at walmart. My ear holes would get too sweaty with the buds.

I got a pair of Bose noise canceling buds with a mic for Christmas last year, and rarely use them. They keep falling out of my ears...the buds are shaped really weird. Plus, they sound NOWHERE as good as my $16 SK's. SKs FTW.
Is that a real poncho, or a Sears poncho?

I picked up a pair of snugg buds. They had a booth at the UFC fan expo in Vegas that I went to a month ago.

So far, I really like them.

Skullcandy here too. The sound quality on their upper end models are excellent. They've survived the washer and dry as well.

I ditched earbuds altogether and got a set of JVC stereo headphones. But I do not run and never have. The buds were a pain keeping in my ear even walking on treadmill and the sound quality of the headphones is much better.

I like the fuzzy ones. I usually find a decent set of earphones (even the iPod ones) and steal the fuzzies off a cheap pair and put them on the good pair.

I use these to. Great sound and stays in place. Unfortunately I burn through a pair in about 2 -3 months. Pay extra $9 at Best Buy, then you can just keep returning them for a new pair. I am pretty sure it's from the sweat, and I usually only kill them when I am doing a lot of cardio, so may just be me.

I tried so garbage JVC ones as well. Garbage. Poor sound quality, and the ear loop was huge, and uncomfortable.

Sorta related- for all of you New Balance wearers out there, Marshall's is a good place to get reasonably priced New Balance (TJ and Marshall's are the same company, I think).
