I'm really out my depth when it comes to dub step, i have a few tracks but find digging for new music nearly impossible. mostly because i don't like the popular screechy synth dub step that dominates sites like beatport.

You're not alone. I like dark, heavy DNB and Dub. I want to feel like I am listening to the soundtrack of my bad ass life/lifting when I am jamming. Lately I have been wanting to update my play list and I am finding I have to weed through more garbage than ever to find the good stuff.

IMO, few touch the old school guys. Today, folks are trying to just get ridiculous with the bass. It's like scratching records was to the 80s and 90s, or autotune of today. It's just over done.

One of my favorite albums of all time was from Calyx and Teebee called Anatomy, but you can't get this album on iTunes anymore. I once had it, but iTunes deleted off my playlist when I switched phones.

Someone put this to Transformers. Fits perfectly.
