Nothing outrageous right now for my laptop (XPS M1730, not the top of the line parts in her)
But I'll keep an eye on this thread for when I'm ready to build a beast of a desktop
How do you guys feel about dual/triple monitors?
Is that the way to go? (Or maybe 1 large monitor? Sizing windows by hand would get annoying though -- besides what you can do in W7)MMJFS Member #23

My setup that I built about 2 and a half years ago. Still going strong so I'll continue to ride it out for a while before scrapping it and rebuilding.
Antec P182 Case
eVGA 780i SLi Motherboard
Thermaltake Toughpower 700W PSU
Intel C2D E8400 @ 3.875Ghz on air w/ Xigmatec HDT-S1283
4GB DDR2 1066 RAM
2x 8800GTS 512MB SLi @ 775/1950/2050
500GB Samsung SpinPoint 7200RPM HDD
23" ASUS 1080p Display

i7 930 w/ Noctua U9B cooler
12 gigs DDR3 @ 1600 (soon to be 24 once the 4 gig sticks drop in price)
ASUS P6X58D mobo
corsair TX750 psu
radeon 4650 vid card (fanless)
antec p183 case
bunch of Noctua case fans
three WD 1TB sata 6 hard drives
I built this solely for music production, hence the crappy video card. And I needed it to be very, very quiet. Also have a Q6600 with 8GB DDR2 as a slave computer.

Here is a mod I did last year. I actually never ended up using this PC for anything although it was intended for a home theater PC. I guess I should get my ass in gear and try to sell it.
Stats:
1.6gHz Intel Atom N230 processor
built-in nvidia graphics (the motherboard is an Zotac Nvidia ION)
a 160gb laptop hard drive
2GB of PC6400 DDR2
a laptop DVD rom/cd burner drive
It is capable of running fanless but I have two fans, one in the bottom sucking air directly away from the processor and one on the top blowing air across the processor heatsink and out of the grill on the top.
