    not the greatest idea since you won't have all the blood you can get to your muscles due to some of it being diverted toward your GI tract

    I try to have finished my meal like 1-2hrs before a workout. Works for me, not saying it's 'the only way to do it'. I'd say though, let your food settle.

    This, plus the fact that it is completely pointless. Your muscles aren't going to store glycogen from that meal in time for the workout.
