I have my brown belt in Karate and I used to love it! I did it when I was younger but it was the first time I discovered how I felt after getting out/releasing all my pent up energy/frustrations etc. It was the only thing that made me smile after a bad day.
I started to get bored with the classes (after 7 years, 3x a week, every week, all year). I then started with a regular gym. When I first joined (early 90s) I only did the aerobic classes this was the new way for me to release all the energy/frustrations/anger Then years after doing classes I got bored.
In comes MMA. I stopped by Xtreme Couture today and got myself a 2 week pass. I am so excited to try all the classes! They have spinning & crossfit too. Can't wait to do spinning - I miss it! Tomorrow is kick boxing - woo! I can't wait to try BJJ & Muay Thai...I am super excited to try all the classes!
I will be posting workouts, how it felt and I feel afterwards...EXPECT SWEARING ABOUT THE DOMS for the first while!
