    I cannot straighten out my arm.

    Yesterday I tried a new work out for my biceps. It was: pullups 5x10, 3 sets of 21s, and bent over rows 3x10. Now i just woke up and my right arm is bent half way at the elbow and won't move at all. I know this is not DOMS. I tried to bend it but it won't go either way and It hurts so much. I have to pt for future soldier training later today but i don' think I'll be able to like this. What should I do my arm is pretty much useless I had to type this whole thing with my left hand.

    It could be DOMS. When I got my free "personal training" session when I joined my gym a few years ago, the guy overworked me a lot. It felt fine while I was there until the next morning, when I had my right arm in a sling because it hurt to move it so much. It stayed like that for a couple days, then it went back to normal.

    As with any problem, if it's not getting better go see a physician. And I don't mean "if it isn't better after 3-4 hours."
    There's never enough time to do all the nothing you want.

    biceps? this sounds like a back workout...

    anyways, i remember not working out for a month and then hitting back really hard for a lot longer than I should have. I had the same problem you had. I would recommend taking a hot bath. I think it helped my arms get a little more mobile. Other than that put some icy hot on it. It took me a few days to recover, and it really sucked. I learned my lesson.

    Give it 3 days and if its still the same, see a doctor.

    I've had it happen to me a couple times.

    First time back in high school first time working out, ever. Went to work after school and was unable to extend my arm at all. Went away by the next day, but was kind of trippy.

    Happened last year as well. First time back in the gym in literally 8+ years. Woke up the next day couldn't extend arm and had doms so bad that I would wake up all night for the entire week unable to extend my arms or contract them they hurt so bad.
