Ok...I searched first, but didnt quite find what I was looking for, so figured I would ask.
1) I know about getting my macros in.
2) I understand calories in vs calories out.
3) I was able to work with @The Solution on a cut, which helped greatly...he taught me quite a bit.
My question/reason for this thread:
In this article:
http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/docs...endomorphs.pdf
It explains how endos have a larger insulin response based on the cells being more resistant to insulin. So MORE is secreted to shuttle nutrients. Ok...so if that is the case, nutrient timing WOULD mean something to an endo...correct?
For a long while, I would try to balance macros per meal. X carbs, X fat and X protein. However, based on reading that article...it states to eat smaller frequent meals to control the amount of insulin secreted as well as eating Lower GI carbs at breakfast, and also pre workout. To leave the rest to fats and protein. And higher GI carbs post.
Now...I am mentioning this because I have been told to hit macros and that timing is not an issue...and perhaps for some, this is the case. I am a classic endo, through and through...so, does nutrient timing based on the ENDO model hold weight? I mean, I know some people fast for 16 hours...and then slam their daily cals in 8. This information seems to be geared towards the ecto to meso and maybe even meso/endo spectrum of phenotypes...but an endo...this would seem like an easy way to gain weight, if timing was not an issue to be concerned with.
I would appreciate input from people that have background/knowledge in this PARTICULAR spectrum of nutrition.
I am very unfamiliar with this, so I hope this is not something that will step on anyones toes...I just feel I need to understand this better, to get the results I want. I want to bulk...but an endo gains weight easily, and its not so easy to ditch.
Any insight to this is GREATLY appreciated. You can count on reps for good advice.

From what I've read from Derek Charlebois, he is not the man to trust. Scrolling to the bottom of that pdf also revealed the entirety of ZERO sources cited....
The fact that he is basing insulin manipulation on the GI of foods as opposed to the II is reason enough for me not to trust his opinion on the subject.Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=159714881&p=1213186101
