Hey peeps, been on the forum for a while but got serious last April. Put on a fair amount of muscle and strength the first year, now I've been offered to be trained by a local trainer for a competition next September. I've been working out with this trainer for 3 weeks now, and he may throw me into the competition coming up in September just to get my feet wet. I know I'm in no shape to step out on stage but right now but I'm really aiming at taking first place next year.
In these pics below, I'm weighing 173 pounds roughly @ 5% BF (electronic BMI calculator at the gym) so I'm assuming it's a bit higher than that. The purpose of this thread is to get input on what you guys think, critique what you see. I'm open to positive, negative, feedback, whatever; lemme know what you guys got.
Thanks in advance.

Overall... you look good.... everything looks at least proportional... the biggest thing you need to do is gain thickness.. all around... but very achievable for you to be stage ready in a year... good luck with it

Yes, to me, my chest is my weakest point but my trainer is focusing on that area so I'm not worried about it. Abs on the other hand look a little bloated in the picture becoz I gulped down a serving of Dark Matter 20 mins before I took this picture. We hit abs everyday on a circuit so those will be no problem to bring out.
For arms and delts, I just do curls (preacher, hammer, ez curl close grip) for biceps. Triceps I do pushdowns, pulldowns, and dips. Delts I do front/side/rear lateral raises and close grip upright rows. My father has bigs arms so I think I'm just genetically gifted in that area.Lift. Eat. Sleep ---> Repeat till swole.

Chest needs more thickness but you need just a little bit more mass overall. Looking good regardless and legs looking strong as phuck.
Definitely not below 10% bf I'd say 11 or 12%. keep at it and by next year you should be alpha as hell cuzz
Edit* more thickness on back and width is needed!Started bbing 01/04/2010: 175lbs 11%BF
Current (04/11/2010):205lbs 11%BF
Bench: 230lbs
Squat: 350lbs
Deadlift: 350lbs
Total:930lbs

Since you guys are here, would you mind helping me out on this one:
When you guys bench do you feel any pain in your neck? Today I pushed 225x8 for the first time but throughout the lift I felt a pinching sensation in left side of my neck. Could it be from not being accustomed to that kinda pressure?Lift. Eat. Sleep ---> Repeat till swole.
