Drinking too much Coke Zero bad?

I been drinking a lot of coke zero lately. I would drink like 7 cans of it a day. I don't know why but I just want to drink it a lot. I'm not working right now and I need to do something before I workout or finding a new job. Is it bad if I drink that much a day? I know the calorie intake is nothing but the SODIUM in coke zero is not good.

Well, for general health, excessive carbonated drinks is bad. In the long run, it causes stomach irritability, altered pH stomach acidity, causes problems with the eso****us, increased chance of acid reflux, and is generally bad for tooth enamel.

For bodybuilding, no. There is nothing wrong with it. But it is considered not good as far as a sole source of water consumption. Where as alcohol is a diuretic, soda is not really considered that. Since its main component is water, it basically is self defeating for hydration. With that in mind, it gives a false sense of hydration for the body in the short run.

If you're still drinking enough water otherwise, then soda will not affect you in the terms of bodybuilding.

If the sodium content has you worried, I would strongly suggest reading the ingredient list...

    Aspartame? Etc...

    Try drinking water instead.

You don't want that much aspartame in you. I'd say even 1 a day is excessive

Aspartame is the sweetener used to replicate sugar in Coke and similar drinks.

I haven't found any conclusive evidence, but I remember seeing some videos about how it excites cells and ultimately causes cancer or tumours.

Don't drink it everyday and be careful, its actually in almost all drinks without sugar.

Anything can bad in excess. I don't see a prolem w/ it if you're enjoying it in moderation. 2-3 cans I'd so go for it, but at 7, that's a bit much.

PEOPLE who drink lots of fizzy drinks have brittler bones than people who dont...cos the carbon atoms in them attach to calcium in the body, thus depriving your body of the calcium it needs to repair it self :$
