    Question legs workouts and basketball

    if i workout my legs on one day and then play basketball on the next day where i have to jump, run, etc. would it hinder my progress on legs?

    I think it will hinder your game, if your training right and are sore, as for leg development it could be seen as a form of active recovery. I would rather not train legs heavy the day before if your basketball perfomance is very important, since the soreness will inhibit movement patterns.

    I would rather the leg training be the day after basketball or away from the play altogether.
