    ROWING-Negative Gains and Making Weight

I'm 16 years old, and need to find a way to get to no more than 150pounds and gain as much strength as possible.

I let myself go a bit over the last year. I went from weighing 135 and benching 185, squatting 400 and curling 135 with what I'd estimate to be below 7% body fat to around 143 with a max bench of around 140 and I have no idea what the rest are.

I still have almost no body fat, but I want to lose weight before I start gaining it again. Can I make a negative gain with such low body fat? (ie. I still have abs and a 32inch waist)

To any rowers, could I compete against 6 foot tall rowers at 5'7" 150lbs without a negative gain? I don't think I could.

I guess the main point of this is is it possible/healthy to lose weight at my size and can I do it with a negative gain?

This dude's right! Follow his advice and don't think of weight criterias or other classifications until you are older.
