I've never understood why people get so caught up in body types. lol
Got a busy weekend ahead so tomorrows workout is today. Yesterday I ordered a bottle of Oxyelite Pro and DS Lean Xtreme, so we'll see how that goes.
Question for the group. What is your opinion on "cell tech"/PH? Are the side effects and risks blown out of proportion? Everything I've seen leads me to believe so. My dad along the the rest of his friends dabbled in such things when they played football in the 70's. They didn't use any cycle assist, nothing for liver protection no pct, and drank alcohol like water. Fast forward to today, and they're all pretty damn healthy for the most part.

It's interesting
And it gives you suggestions on different strategies.
Typical: Endo = Low Carb for better results. Rings super true for me!
Just based on your build it seems more Meso but you'd know better than me. Even in your 'fat' pictures you didn't seem like a gian bubble or have flabby wing arms, right? It was mostly your gut....? (I'm terrible at remembering pictures/noticing things, keep this in mind... lol)
(this is all hear/say/parrot work)
I think it depends on the amount used.
Things nowadays are stronger than they were before...?
I believe that they can be used safely if you're properly educated on what you're taking and know what sides and such to expect.
Personally, I'm not touching them. I don't want manvoice/manface. Or more hair. Or the other things.
But I do very much enjoy dabbling with non-hormonal supps... Adaptogens are my current interest (E-Bol, etc)BluePrint Believer!

If you want my honest opinion: I would never touch the stuff. You can get very far natural if you really want to, that means having a solid diet and training regime and stick to it for a while. Yes, building a great physique takes hard work and patience. At the same time, that is exactly what makes it so damn rewarding. For me it is seeing where I can take my body, like a sculpture. 'Cell tech' would take away all the fun. It would make me focus on pure muscle mass and lose sight of overall health as well.
Besides the health risks, there is more to life than 'fast gainz'. There's also a great chance your gains will be temporary, so what happens then?
If you do want to start it, you need a solid base of muscle mass and at least 5 years of continuous training under your belt. I would say start with that and see where it gets you?
What's your main argument for using?Iron, sometimes it sets my teeth on edge, other times it helps me control the chaos.

Boogie, your not where you need to be to think about using such things. I agree with Dex!
Get a program and stick to it for a few years and then reevaluate where you are at.
Steroids/pro hormones just magnify what you are already doing, they are not magic, and if you aren't doing everything perfectly, you will lose virtually everything you gained to begin with. Get your diet and workouts in check and you will make lots of progress!!Start weight 279lbs 1/18/2016

Today is an off day for me, but I'm thinking about doing some cardio since my day is pretty sedentary and I hate sitting still.
Anyway, since Christmas/NYE is all over I'm seeing changes in the mirror again. Making progress feels so much better than standing still. Bodyfat-wise I'm at the lowest I've ever been I think.. not that it's really low but it's motivating. Can't wait to see the March 1st. results.
If I can't show you guys a sign of abs on March 1st. I'm leaving this thread
Have a good day guys!Iron, sometimes it sets my teeth on edge, other times it helps me control the chaos.

I just ate 4 pieces of back bacon (DELICIOUS!) and 1/2c oatmeal mixed with 1sc chocolate whey (SciVation) and 1tbsp of ground flaxseed.
On the Menu:
Fajitas (Chicken, Seasoning, High Fiber Wrap)
Taco Beef w/ Cheese in a High Fiber Wrap (decided against the tostitos!)
PB Banana Wrap (also in High Fiber Wrap) w/ Protein Shake
VERY large sweet potato with lightly shake n baked chicken!
Dinner tonight is currently undecided 100% but I have a few ideas!!
(I cooked/prepped all of that this morning, too... except the sweet potato, that took a few hours last night!)BluePrint Believer!

jeesh i missed some of that dare PH discussion....but I will add to it what i know.
i wouldnt even consider it till like 30 YO and even then u had better understand it. From just my readings there more to it then just let me take this for x amount of time and then take supports. U also want BF under control.
i read up on 11sterone, good cutter but lot of $, pretty safe since its not mythelated (sp) but still need to understand it.
it seems u should have a decent understanding of ur body type to help achieve ur goals. at least in the form if ur a hard gainer, ecto, the best build, meso, or maybe more sensative to carbs, endo.
beefy, yeah most my fat is gut, handles, this area. which is why i didnt think i was meso but its hard for me to gauge myself also. pbateman had thought i was endo-meso or meso-endo.
workouts going good for me now that im back into them. just bummed i wont do well for this obf. theres always next obf and im gonna join that 100K one!Used to be fat, now just fat with a lot of muscle.

Weighed in this morning for my official weigh in. 225lbs.....wow. I did have an extra spike day in there so I probably added a bit of fat but I know some is muscle too. Got another compliment today about me looking like I added size....sweet!
Started doing abs three days a week now. Going to use the new gym for all my workouts and use old gym for abs while at work. Hoping the extra work makes them pop even with my fat LOL
Even went for a short walk today.....ready to be lean.
Counting down till time to spike...so ready to eat.Start weight 279lbs 1/18/2016

Enjoy your spike!!
------------------------------------------------
I was thinking today.. I want to get to the point of not literally counting calories like I do now. For cutting it's very good and useful and I will keep doing it. But since I started training I think I have a pretty good idea about calories and macro ratios in foods. I hope that once I reach my bodyfat goal I can clean bulk with a little less 'tight' diet. I think 100 calories more or less don't really matter.. Doesn't mean eating more/less, but just a different approach.
I mean, I don't want to be doing this counting for the rest of my life. I want to have a more natural approach to what I eat and when I eat it, and get the results I want that way. Monitoring results and adjust according. Lots of people do this with success and it always sounds great! If I get fat, I slow down... that kind of stuff.
Have you ever thought about this stuff? and what do you think..Iron, sometimes it sets my teeth on edge, other times it helps me control the chaos.

Hi Everyone,
The first week of this new year has been good for me. I dropped 2lbs of holiday fat, I was aiming for 3 but I'll happily take the 2! And I ate more carbs than usual. My theory panned out nicely. I guessed that once I stopped the bad eating of the prior 12 days I would have a good loss. Soooo glad I was right. Late afternoon snack is always greens for me, usually a salad. I added either a banana or sweet potato at this time every day. Good, healthy carbs and totally enjoyable for me. So now I weigh in at 123lbs which is a solid 5lb gain from the start of my bulk. I want to maintain this weight for at least 1 more week to make sure I'm not adding any fat. I'm feeling good and tight and still enjoying my workouts. I changed up some of the exercises but the basic workouts are the same 4 day split, 2 days upper body, 2 days lower body, and 2 days of cardio. Most lifts slowly increasing. Thinking I need more dumbbells again. lol. maybe for my birthday?
Hey tj. Welcome back. Happy New Year.
I haven't used wheat germ in years, but I used to sprinkle it on plain yogurt. Good fiber and added some crunch. I looked at it again recently but didn't want the extra carbs.
Hey Dex, looking good I think I wrote about this last month. I don't really count calories. My cals vary from day to day depending on what I eat for dinner. Most days breakfast, lunch and snacks are pretty much the same, but dinner is a family meal. We eat late here and I just eat protein for dinner. Monday thru Thursday we try to keep it lean because we do eat more on the weekends starting with big steaks Friday night. So I vary my cals just by the nature of life. Weeknight dinners are usually grilled or broiled chicken breast, grilled pork chop, pork tenderloin which is a bit carby cuz I serve it with a tomato base sauce, grilled veal chop, and occasionally sushi. When I first started this more than 2 yrs ago I figured the cals and how I was going to eat them. You've been doing this for a long time too so you should have a good idea of what you've been eating and could probably follow your plan without measuring or counting. Pay attention to what you're eating and how big the portions look. Then wing it for a week and see how it goes. Let me know. Hope this helps a bit.
@ boogie: Welcome back & Happy New Year to you too.
I'm not even sure what supps you were asking about but I usually take the very conservative route when it comes to those things. It seems to me that you could lose all the fat you want to shed and gain a lot of muscle naturally as long as you're willing to be patient and put the work into it. A lot of people achieve great results while keeping it natural. Think about it.
@beefy: best luck with your new contest/cut/getting in shape for spring football.
try not to be so extreme, that might work best for you in the long run. just my 2cents.> Because I can! <
