A verizon tech was called to my place of work today because one of our phones was screwy... So the guy comes in (he's black) and he starts asking me about the problem. He's asking me because i'm the first one he saw when he walked into the office, also the broken phone is at the desk next to me.
After looking into the problem, he explains that we need to call the phone vendor because verizon is only responsible up to a certain spot. After that point, everything in the building is the responsibility of the phone vendor. We chatted some more about his job. and how he always gets called out for this kind of stuff. He was a cool guy, probably 35 years old. So i tell him that he'll have to go see my boss and explain it to him.
Then i fukin hear my boss telling him "you just dont want to fix it, you dont care about our stuff, what does it take to actually get you to do some work" When the guy leaves, my boss tells me that "people like that" (implying black people) try to get away without ever doing any work.
I knew my boss was somewhat racist but wtf this sh*t pissed me off. The guy was being really helpful, explaining how the entire phone system works, and that he's not allowed to touch the lines past a certain point. Fukin racists make me rage.
Cliffs:
Black verizon tech comes to fix office phones
Politely explains to us that it's not his responsibility
My boss tells me "people like that" dont like to work

People are retarded. They don't understand simple things. For example, today I had a guy walk up to me asking me why 10 dollars were missing from his account. After looking over the transaction history it all checks out and everything is fine. No error on our end. He just wont accept the fact that he is retarded and made a mistake on his math. He argues with me that we are ripping him off ten dollars. I offer a calculator, and he says he knows how to add and subtract fine and we are wrong. I loled.

He prob meant guys like that, phone techs, they always want to off the problem to some next person. In my experience hes right. I see no racism, just a little white knight thread.

Don't sound racist to me. Sounds like the typical tech trying to pass off blame and get out of work while milking the clock for service calls. OP go be racist somewhere else.

lol how the fuk do you know he was "implying" black people? You're just as bad as some blacks pulling the race card all the time over stupid sh!t that doesn't even involve race. Unless he specifically said something racist, shut your whore mouth.

Hate people like that(your boss). Had a similar story my cable was messed up at my house internet and tv. So I call Rogers and a guy comes out. It was a black guy come in my house checks my connections inside then goes outside and finds the problem. Fixes to perfect and even calls in a service boost(increase speed) for free. I thank the guy and he leaves, my dad was there and said a comment on how scruffy looking he was, possibly comes to work high. Now my dad works as an electrician and I've seen him at work and he's pretty scruffy. So I defend the guy because he knew his sh*t.
*Internet problems and call service guy
*He's a black guy
*fixes everything to better than before
*my dad makes a comment
*I get pissed and defended the guy
