That was a tremendous effort! Especially after missing the 2nd deadlift attempt, and then coming back and making the 3rd, for more weight!

I'm glad you guys had a chance to see this, I think it's pretty exciting.
I had the privilege of being a spectator at the meet and I guess to me it was kind of like going to the Academy Awards and seeing celebs. There was no shortage of amazing feats that day but Davis Ricks record braking total was amazing.
*Squat #3 looked like most peoples openers
*His bench? Pfft, talk about old man strength (when ever he gets around to getting old)
*2nd & 3rd DL - He must have missed his groove on the second attempt but what confidence to pile on more weight for his third attempt!
...and as many times as I've seen this I only just noticed that that's my fat azz in front of the camera @ 5:15
