Baltimore Police Investigate Rash Of ShootingsBALTIMORE (WJZ) ―
It was a violent weekend in Baltimore, with 10 people shot starting early Saturday morning.
One of two shootings turned deadly.
A 19-year-old man was killed near the intersection of East North Avenue and North Washington Street around 9:30 Saturday night.
The victim has been identified as Marquelle Turner.
About the same time on Saturday night, four people were wounded during a shooting in the 1300-block of Montford Avenue.
Two 17-year-olds, and two adults went to area hospitals.
Police say it's too early to tell if any of this weekend's shootings are connected.
Nothing like community unity as the city went all out.

Right.
Everyone shot or who is a suspect is black.
Did you read the entire post?
It is really sad that an even that is supposed to be so unifying for the Black Community, that an outrageous jump in shooting occurs.
Let me just add this, if I were to elaborate on all other incidents in relation to people attending the "festival" that happened around the city, you would probably find fault with that as well.
If the Tea Pary or Warped Tour happened here this weekend, and 10 people got caps busted in them, it would be on the national news.Gay Friendly(no homo)-/Black Friendly(no racist)-/Hick Friendly(no inbred)

It's sad to say, but that's part of black culture, and sometimes part of hispanic.
People in the US need to stop with the delusions. We have massively dysfuntional parts of our culture that aren't goin away and we need to start discussing it rationally. In Philly, hundreds and hundreds get murdered and thousands get injured due to violent crime, and it's mostly black people. Black people aren't from some other culture, they're from the US and are "your people", if you're an American.

In Philly there used to be the annual "Greek Festival" which was for black college people and each year it would turn into rape and looting in the streets on a mass scale. I'm not joking either, they'd literally grab women and strip them naked, and smash their way through businesses on South Street and go crazy. Then, the cops decided to do something and had squads of officiers and helicopters all over.
After that the sociopath party was over and they stopped holding it. Had it been an Italian, Polish, Chinese or whatever festival, there'd no predictable amount of rape or looting. If the cops had all turned out then people would have been happy for the great security.
The point being, there's some massive problems with some types of people feeling like citizens in this country. When you all get together to celebrate, and it's a celebration that says "There's so many of us, we can't be stopped" then that's sickness.

Let me see if I'm right here, it's ok to only acknowledge good things and accomplishments when it's certain groups, while some groups, you can't publicise any negative or really wrong actions as groups? Even if it supported by facts?
IT WAS A HERIRTAGE AND CULTURAL(RACE) EMPOWERMENT FESTIVAL!!!!

People dont want to be called racist , yet want to make racist posts...
Evil people are evil people and shootings are certainly not part of so called black culture.
But it's a nice thread to generalize and stereotype people
Only a racist would make such a correlation

Perhaps not officially, but you can't deny that there is a problem within "the community" and that pointing it out, or asking questions about it isn't racist.
While African Americans comprise 13.5% of the U.S. Population, 43% of all murder victims in 2007 were African American, 93.1% of whom were killed were African Americans."Do you think SHE actually felt like that was a sexual thing he was doing? She's like 6. Only an actual p3do would think that she thought he was groping her, too."
"Not that it's impossible to touch a minor inappropriately, but it is true that a 6 year old girl will not recognize someone putting a hand on their chest as groping, whether it is inappropriate or not."

First, don't care what you call me. Second, this is not a racist post.
Define racism and you tell me how post correlating the disturbing fact that a festival of black community empowerment happens as black community members let loose shooting up the city and each other.
Unless you are going to go all "protected class" when it comes to posts on forums, your racism claims are silly.
That is why the state of racial affairs is so terrible, everyone is afraid to talk about it and call like it is, and maybe, just maybe, having a heated yet informed debate on the matter. That's what most people want. Many political and media elite, don't want folks to realize, they can work through some things themselves. Not through them.
But NO, let's shut it down, it's "r-a-c-i-s-t"

In my opinion, it's "racism" to ignore mass murder going on in a group of people and then ignoring it in favor of talking about positives. That means the people aren't important enough to be concerned about. Rather, they're being left alone to kill themselves.
I've literally heard people say not to make a fuss about black people and just leave them alone so they can kill themselves. I know that's not what's meant here, but it's like a shadow of the same ethic.

I get the impression this is more of a cultural knock, and quite honestly, I do think people need to grow up a little and be able to discuss AA culture more honestly w/out being such babies about it. Tons of children being born out of wedlock, many fathers who are absent, higher percentages of individuals receiving entitlements, etc... while this, thankfully, is not always the case, there are some problems there.
We probably should look at it reasonably and openly without always racism. Granted, someone casually dismissing all blacks and thinking of them as inferior isn't going to help that discussion anymore than the weenies who instantly cry, "Racism!!!!", both of those two extremes need to back off.
Me, I think we need to take an honest look at the programs which were designed to "help" minorities and underprivileged and really look at if they're helping or holding them back. The AA community needs to take a hard look at itself and it's leaders which point the finger elsewhere and all this "White privilege" racist bunk which nobody ever calls anyone out on when they say it. Start spending more attention to the people able to break the cycle of poverty and focus on those positives rather than always the negatives.
... and so forth. All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

I am sorry that you take such offense.
I'll say this though biitch, I talk like I talk on this forum or in real life.
I call a person a punk azz niggga, if they are. I call crackhead *******s just that, to thier face, if they are and they deserve it.
I call a redneck white trash inbred, just that, to thier face. If I feel they are.
I've kicked the shiit out just as many blacks as whites in my life. I live in a place where I am an extreme minority. My career calls me to work with some of the black community's worst, spare me your sensitivities.
I call it like it is and also have a good sense of humor. If you are that uptight, I feel sorry for you.Gay Friendly(no homo)-/Black Friendly(no racist)-/Hick Friendly(no inbred)

Natioanl Political Leadership in the black community, needs to be take to task on the policies that have perpetuated the misery of the inner city.
That is why, it will help blacks and whites hash out these discussions and even if people get really mad. The fact is, when people start to hear some things, things that actually make sense, from people they normally dismisss, things will change.
I know this from personal experience.
Most whites want the tragedies of urban blacks to stop. No one wants the drugs and violence anywhere in this country. It will take some hard and intellectually honest discussions along with some new black leadership.
THe cry of "racism" will keep people in shackles longer than they realize.Gay Friendly(no homo)-/Black Friendly(no racist)-/Hick Friendly(no inbred)
