Currently I'm in the Delayed Entry Program for the military, and as a weekly requirement we have PT every Thursday. This day typically involves a lot of calisthenics (pushups, pullups, abs,) about 2-3 miles of running, and an IST involving max sets of pullups.
My current routine is as follows:
Monday- Chest/Triceps/Shoulders
Tuesday-Cardio / Pullups / Pushups pyramids
Wednesday- Back/Biceps
Thursday- PT
Friday- Misc. Cardio (light)
Sat/Sun- Rest
Due to my goals of getting a better run time, increasing pullups (20 is max), and increasing overall endurance rather than size, I lift twice per week. However, after doing my back/biceps before thursdays I'm feeling very burnt out and cannot bust out as many pullups as I'd like to.
Does anyone have any recommendations as to how I should organize my week to maximize gains in all areas, both cardio and lifting? Thank you. Reps as always
