Other than that, I have no idea how they are selling a 1W blue laser for $200. I have a 115 mw green cni laser and it was ~$200 3 years ago. I suppose prices have come down but not that much...

I would really suggest you be careful and not **** around if this is your first laser because 1W is no joke.

Why not? How many people have guns? There are millions of more dangerous things than this. I've had lasers before (up to 200mW) and I want something real to play with and experiment

Yesh I know its a Chinese brand and not amazing, but for the price I had to grab one. Its made fom the blue diodes from a projector which is hwy they can make it so cheap, it's a production part. They already make the casing for the green spyders so $200 it is
