Unhappy Tendonitis?

Ok, so I was lifting shoulders today and noticed a really sharp pain in my elbow. When I described the pain to another person, I was told that it was "tennis elbow". So here is my question.... Has anyone experienced this? And what would you do in a situation to heal it? Because I am competing this year, and the areas I am trying to bring up are my shoulders, bi's, tri's...EVERYTHING that makes my elbow hurt! Please help me!!

I had tendinitis in my shoulder recently, and I was told to take a month off from training my upper body.

Give it a week...if you're still hurting, it might be tendinitis or you might have just dinged it.

I'm Just Getting Over Tendinitis........ It Sucks, I Quit Lifting Heavy For A Month Took Motrin And Iced It 2 A Day... Best Of Luck

Yes, I agree, take a bit of time off it. Icy-hot does WONDERS while you are waiting it out as well. Ibuprofen can help get rid of any inflammation too.

AHH! Not the news I wanted to hear, but better to not REALLY mess it up! Thanks guys for the info, I think Im going to go find a big bucket of ice and Icy Hot to stick my whole body in now....Urgh
