Let me know what you guys think of the layout. I'm hoping we are about a month away from signing the lease to our first place.
5QP.pdf
I'm thinking I am going to outfit it with a Rouge 16' Infinity Rig as the main piece. We can work multiple stations off that and save a tone of square footage (we only have 2000).

Took a look, but I don't have the expertise on what you're doing to make any concrete suggestions. However, I've designed a lot of manufacturing plant layouts and I've learned a few things:
1. Don't install anything too "permanent" right away if you can help it. Let people get using stuff and then re-arrange based on how they utilize the space.
2. If you have to put in heavy / permanent stuff, start in the corners. Less likely you'll have to move it later. (Also, if it turns into a coat rack, at least it'll be out of the way).
I know that's not much help, but all I can offer.☠ By reading this post, you have agreed to my negative reputation terms of service.

I like the layout, Corey. Wish I had the space to put in one of those "big kid jungle gyms" at my house I see that everything is priced through Rogue, but have you looked at other brands? I see these styles of training platforms in just about every catalog I get, and every website I visit seems to have a version of this.
I don't love Rogue, as a company. I've played with enough of their barbells and bumpers to be genuinely unimpressed by how quickly they turn to junk. I assume that the low price point encourages Crossfitters to keep coming back, without a clue that a good bumper plate will NEVER need replaced... double that sentiment for a good barbell. I've purchased a lot of equipment over the past five years, and I can say that I prefer (and love) my Muscle Driver equipment the best. Customer service has been top notch, quality is good, and they often have very reasonable pricing/sales. http://www.muscledriverusa.com/?gcli...FQOFnQodcy91SQ

Forgot to mention, Glenn Pendlay specifically works with Muscle Driver... and actually made a personal return call regarding a very minor product issue. That's a little like having the president of Chase bank call you up because an ATM charged you double fees
... not a complaint though, Mr. Pendlay was very helpful. Kind of wish I had some kind of profound training topic to discuss with him, and not a buckle on my Oly shoesGoRuck Challenge Journal: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=150446113

Yes...to a great extent. Lifting is out of the question, even light weight.
No basketball.
No volleyball.
I've gained a lot of weight...like 60 lbs in the last couple of years. I'm on the Atkins diet now...and losing the weight. By the time I'm done, I'll probably be in 240-260 lb range. It pisses me off. I enjoyed being 280 and built like a brick ****house. I have lost a lot of muscle. Getting back to a healthy weight is getting me fired up to lift...but I can't.My Journal:

SFG introduced me to a great app & website: myfitnesspal.com. I like it a lot better than Fitday and it's easy to add/adjust things on my phone during the day. Of course, I still ignore what's there and eat too much on a regular basis, which is why I'm still fat four years after I started posting here, but it helps.

Ugh, are we still talking about diets? Booooooo-Ring.
I've been losing about 1-2 lbs a week over the last couple months. My strategy? Move more. Honestly, my dietary practices are atrocious. You want to see what I eat in a given day, find a Maury Povich where they had to cut a 500lb dude out of his house and crane his arse to the studio. When he starts talking about his daily diet, just think of old AC.
Seriously, I have no qualms about eating large quantities of fast food, ice cream, cake, cookies, pizza... you name it.
Of course the trick is that I barely eat anything between the time I get up and the time I eat dinner. Maybe 300-500ish calories? Cup of chocolate milk before training, sip on aminos all day at work, a couple packs of oatmeal, that's really it. When I get home I eat a big meal, but I find it relatively difficult to go overboard when I have to eat all my calories in one sitting. Honestly, I haven't had any energy or recovery issues. I've been eating like this for well over a year. When I want to lose weight, I eat a little less, but I don't really even measure or track that. My reference point is basically something like "What did I eat last week? I'll eat a little less than that."
Now, this whole thread has turned dangerously useful as of late. Stop itGoRuck Challenge Journal: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=150446113

Probably...but I feel OK losing it. The weight loss will start to slow down soon. I've always lost a ton of weight right away during the induction phase of Atkins. I don't really have any food cravings, feel hungry, or even feel weak...so we'll see how it goes. I've got a lot of weight to lose, so if this keeps up for a couple more weeks, I'd be ok with it. All things being equal, I'd like to lose about a pound per day going forward. I am taking an animal pak every day, so I should be ok from that stand point. I should try to have a salad for lunch every day so I'm getting more veggies and fiber. What I'm doing now is just easy for me to pack for a lunch, easy to have in a cooler in my work truck, and easy to eat between work sites.

BRB, sending IM.
Select the most likely outcome:
1) She has no idea what DP means, becomes confused.
2) She does know what DP means, becomes irate at my disgusting pervert mind.
3) #2 + likes my "take what you want" attitude and sends me tons of pictures of previous DP events.
4) She knows what DP means, is overjoyed that someone "gets her" and offers to fly me and a friend of my choosing to NJ.
5) #4 + AC divorce
6) I get white knighted by guys who think she has an awesome personality and subsequently get banned.

My issue is eating enough. After years of reducing how much I ate and shrinking my appetite, i want to gain more. It is actually a chore to get 3,000+ calories most days. I can easily eat only 2,000-2,500 and be just fine.
I had been good as of late. Weighed in at 190.6 (with steady progression from 185 over 2.5 weeks or so). But my recent sickness killed my appetite for 3 solid days. Yesterday was the first day I could eat anything and not feel nauseated after each bite.-
