Why did my weight go down by 6lbs in 4 days?

I started a cut on Tuesday (16%bf aiming to get to 10) and my body weight has be consistently dropping by about 1.5lbs a day. I'm taking in 2300 calories a day, lifting heavy for an hour a day and I probably walk about 2 miles a day so I know I'm not on a huge deficit. My water intake hasn't gone down and I bulk on about 3700 calories a day. I weighed 214.5 lbs on Monday and I now weigh 208. This really doesn't seem right, does anyone have any explanation for this?

I'm drinking just as much water as I've had before though, and will this continue? I really don't want to go below 195.

    1. Water
    2. Less retained poo.

My weight can fluctuate from 2 to 5+ pounds overnight. More activity will be more loss.

You really should aim for a 2 pound per week loss, not per day.

No, it will stop. I lost 8lbs the first week of my cut, then slowed down to about 3 a week after that.

    That's what I'm going for.
