Hey guys. Just wondering which would be better to do? Would be doing either one mon/weds/friday with some cardio thrown in on tues/thurs probably. I had been doing full body workout before, but appendix burst and have been off training for a couple of weeks now. Just wondering if I should go back to the way I was training (full body) Or mix it up and go with a 3 day split. The 3 day split would be chest/back, legs/abs, shoulders/arms. Sounds weird but I found it on this website haha. Is there a benefit from doing the one of these routines over the other? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers, Dyer.

I found that split as i mentioned in first post, on this site and do not really want to change it to much, as it had all the excercises in it aswell, so it was pretty easy to follow. Im pretty new to lifting and do not want to have to create a new split and work out which excercises to do on what days to start with, I find it easier to just follow a routine that has been proved to work already. I guess I could move the excercises and make it to chest/shoulder/tris, back/bis, legs/abs if this would be more beneficial. Thank you for the reply anyway Anymore help will be greatly appreciated.

IMO, Full Body is better for beginners, this way you see the most results and have the most gains by working each body part 3 times a week.
You should move onto doing a split once you start to plateau and need to hit a body part extremely hard to break the plateau, which you can't do in a full body routine.
I would start out doing Full Body, but that's just me

Full body is too much in my opionion, it's pointless just do a basic powerlifting routine you willl gain large amounts of strength being new....strength gains = muscle gains mate.

If you do go with a 3 day split I recommend.
Monday-Chest+Biceps
Wednesday-Legs+Delts
Friday-Back+Triceps
With that you can throw in abs/calves/forearms at the end of any workout that you want to.My New Log
