OK, I guess I can technically understand your argument. But what about people who have charisma but don't know how to express it because of social ineptness? Maybe most people have it, but just don't know how to use it? I guess I just basically am just saying practice so that you can execute it to your full potential.

Yes and no. It's a good starting point to get over your normal fears, but you want to get to the point where you can be just as charming and outgoing sober. I used to think to myself like that in the beginning. How would I act if I was drunk and brave right now. And just do it. That is key. JUST DO IT if you overthink it, most of the time you will talk yourself out of it.
Say whats on your mind and be confident about what you say.
Now, I do party pretty hard and get pretty Yukky. I just like to have a good time and don't usually worry too much about hooking up with girls when I party. If I was going out with the intention of hooking up, I prefer to be sober or just slightly buzzed. I feel like I am much more charming and smooth when I am like that.

( im not fat or anything, ppl always ask if i bodybuild etc..) Question: How do you cold approach girls, and im talking solid 8s+. Do hotties like being approached by dudes that are not in their cirlce of friends?? Since you around so many beauts due to your career, i think your opinion would be very valid.

Anytime you cold approach, you are going to get snobby girls that blow you off. Doesn't matter who you are. There are girls that Specifically go out so they can blow guys off and make themselves feel better. seriously. When a Random Girl blows you off, you can't take that personally. she doesn't even know you. I usually call them out and laugh about it a bit, or Just ignore them. $hit happens.

I got into photography originally because I had some hot girl friends that were always complaining how it was hard to find good photographers and crap. I figured if some of these guys could be good at it, so could I. I bought a camera and started practicing.
I learned everything by research and reading books. I'm pretty obsessive compulsive when it comes to learning stuff so I pretty much taught myself all of the technical stuff in a couple of weeks. I rotated between 3 different Barnes and Nobles so that I wouldn't look weird sitting there everyday for 5-6 hrs reading all of their books.
I began shooting and it Turned out I was actually really good at it. If it turned out I wasn't any good, I probably wouldn't have continued to pursue it. Photography is one of those things that you are either very good at it or you are not. There are photographers that have been shooting for 20 years and they still suck. I pretty much went pro 1 year after I learned.
It wasn't until I started assisting another fashion photographer that I learned a lot of tricks of the trade that you simply can't learn from technical reading. From there I developed my own style and became much better over the years.
That combined with my people skills I was able to maneuver and hustle my way into many jobs I was not really supposed to have. I contined doing this to build my name and reputation over time, and that's that.

I'm only curious about this because I don't think it takes much to be a photographer, can you show me like a comparison of a shot you took and someone else took? Or a shot of you and your friends and critique it for me? Like what tricks of the trade could there possibly be?
Did you read up on books when it came to socializing and game? You are your thoughts. Life is perception, thoughts are perception, perception is reality ergo thoughts are reality, I think therefore I am.

Great thread viper, I'm surprised it's only 12 pages. Another miscer recently recommended "How to Win Friends and Influence People" by Dale Carnegie, just finished reading it for the first time, now I'm going back to re-read it. Great book and really as you are reading it, you think, "that's common sense" yet we forget about it. Too much stuff to remember from one time reading. Thanks.

In my younger years I was hyper, but not too social. As I got older I consciously pushed myself to be more outgoing, but I still didn't have the social skills to be considered charming. Once I became aware of my social weaknesses, I could effectively train myself to be a better listener, a better speaker, and better at influencing conversations. You simply cannot train yourself to be well spoken unless you consciously know where you are lacking.
Most people will go through their whole life without realizing how they speak and interact with others and never really notice it.

I'm not too sure. I havnt really worked in the fitness industry much yet. But generally speaking, people begin shooting the things they like. For most men, it's hot chicks. Some guys are really into fashion, art, cars, ect... Because of that, I'd imagine photographers really into bodybuilding and men's bodies are higher likely to be be into bodybuilding or gay.

Viper, I am sure you have successfully picked up chicks at random places i.e. gas station, grocery store, etc. Any tips ?
