    Actually I had to take a month off squats from a lower back injury, when I came back I hit them hard and my bicep routine was the same, and my arms grew an inch. And deadlifts are a BACK exercise, why would they not make your back grow? Unless your form sucks and you lift with your legs like a squat.....
