Do you conciously flex your abs when you military press?

Or do you just allow your lower back to do the work

I used to never do overhead military presses because my lower back would fail before my shoulders. Flexing my abs hard from the clean up and onward has helped a ton.

I flex my abs, I don't really want to involve my lower back at all for MP.

ya, me neither, I just never thought of it as dumb as that sounds. Maybe a pointless thread but I'm all excited, about the run off to the gym to do more!!!! Maybe someone somewhere will find it helpful lol.
