Ephedrine is legal in the US, but is not approved as a dietary supplement (e.g, as a weight loss supplement). It is approved as an over the counter medicine for asthma. Most people who take the EC stack these days in the US buy Ephedrine-containing products from pharmacies like Walgreens or CVS (e.g, Bronkaid, Primatene, and generic versions thereof). You won't find it in reputable online supplement stores like bb.com.
In addition, Ephedrine/Psuedoephedrine are the direct chemical precursors to make methamphetamine, so in addition, there are tight federal controls on how much you can buy over a time period.

A Bronkaid box has 60 tablets of 25mg Eph Sulfate each (about 1.5g total). If you dose 3x per day, that will last you 20 days. It's about 10$ in Walgreens. You have to ask for it from the pharmacist and sign for it (basically declaring that you're not using it for meth manufacturing).
The limit in most states is about 3g per day or 9g over a month if I recall. If you're using E for the EC stack, you won't come close. The limits come into play more for Psuedoephedrine than Ephedrine anyways, since the dosage tends to be much higher.

also some pharmacies dont carry bronkaid, a good alternative is Primtene, however the primatene tabs are cheaper they have half the ephedrine sulfate as a tab of bronkaid.
