Can't do push up or pull up, what to do?

Hi, I've never really worked out before, I've always been pretty skinny, I'm 5'9 and I weight 150. I can't do a push up or pull up, I currently have no access to workout equipment. So I was wondering what sort of body weight exercises I could do to build up to push ups and pull ups. Pretty sad, but I can barely do a girl push up either.

I find that hard to believe that you can't do a single push-up

cant even do them from your knees? you have a lot of progress to make! elevate your hands, do wall pushups, make pushups easier on your self.
Dont have negative thoughts. Remember your mantra.

Practice those two movements until you can do allot of them! Use your ingenuity a little bit, no complex plan needed here. Clear blue sky of rapid progress available to you.
To guys starting out - please understand: when you can deadlift 450lb for 10 reps your back, hamstrings & traps will reflect THAT not which program you used to get there. When you can curl 150 for 10, your biceps will reflect THAT, not which program, rep range or method you used to get there. There is no voodoo independent of poundage progression, just faster and slower ways of getting to your next pit stop.

Do wall pushups, look them up. Try doing pullups with a chair for assistance, if you can't do that quit.

Ok for the pullup I can understand, but if you can't do a pushup, then consider yourself a girl. I wouldnt even try working out because you might injure yourself way too severely. Cmon man!
